Torrance, CA -(Ammoland.com)- Celestron, the world’s #1 telescope maker, brings its 50-plus years of optics expertise to the outdoor enthusiast with the Regal M2 spotting scope series ( http://tiny.cc/4tsblx ) .

Regal M2 offers a variety of features usually found in higher-priced models, with next-generation technology and superior performance. Regal M2 spotting scopes have advanced features such as extra-low dispersion (ED) glass that provides truer color with increased resolution and contrast.

All of Regal M2’s lens surfaces feature Celestron’s proprietary XLT optical coatings-the same coatings found on our observatory-class telescopes-for increased light transmission and brighter images. Regal M2 also includes a dual-focus mechanism with coarse and fine focus [JL1] , so you can quickly bring your subject into sharp focus.

Regal M2 comes in three sizes to suit a variety of applications. The compact 65ED features a 65 mm objective lens with a 16-48x magnification zoom eyepiece and weighs only 46.8 ounces. It’s the perfect spotting scope for the weight- or size-conscious users who want top quality without sacrificing performance. The Regal M2 80ED utilizes an 80 mm lens with a 20-60x zoom eyepiece, making it a great choice for bird watching or scouting! For the competitive shooter, the Regal M2 80ED is also offered with a 27X Long Eye Relief (LER) eyepiece that allows you to view through the scope without getting out of your shooting position. Finally, the Regal M2 100ED offers the best possible resolution and clarity that can only be achieved with a larger objective while still only weighing 73.5 ounces.

The spotting scope’s angled eyepiece design delivers versatility in the field when sitting or standing. The included zoom eyepiece has a twist-up adjustable eyecup and provides up to 20 mm of eye relief. Regal M2 also features a rotating tripod collar and a three-position mounting plate, which aids in balanced tripod mounting. Plus, all Regal M2 models are waterproof, fogproof and nitrogen-purged for use in all weather conditions..

Celestron offers three eyepieces for the Regal M2 spotting scopes, but all models are also compatible with 1.25″ astronomical eyepieces. View the outdoors like you’ve never seen before with a scope from Celestron’s Regal M2 series ( http://tiny.cc/4tsblx ) .

“September – November the Regal M2 becomes an even better deal with the addition of a free TrailSeeker tripod. This full size, full featured tripod has 4 section legs, extends to a maximum height of over 70 inches and comes with a two-way fluid pan head that is controlled with a single handle.”
