Wilsonville, OR -(Ammoland.com)- Crimson Trace, America’s premier brand of laser sight systems and tactical lighting products for firearms, announces an expanded sponsorship list for the third annual Midnight 3-Gun Invitational (M3GI).

These event sponsors include many of the leading manufacturers, retailers and groups in the shooting sports industry. Among the leading sponsors of the 2014 M3GI are: Optics Planet, National Shooting Sports Foundation, FLIR, Danner, Blade-Tech, Kimber, Smith & Wesson, ERGO and Mossberg.

The M3GI is recognized as the nation’s top night-time 3-Gun competition and requires competitors to shoot their way through nearly a dozen stages in total darkness. Additional event supporters include: Glock, Leatherman, X-Rail, Brownell’s, M-Pro 7. The 3rd Annual Crimson Trace M3GI competition begins in central Oregon on August 12, 2014. More than 50 shooting industry media members will attend, cover and report on the multi-day program and competition.

Crimson Trace’s Midnight 3-Gun Invitational requires the quick, skillful and precise use of pistols, rifles and shotguns as competitors shoot their way through a maze of stages. The firearms will be equipped with Crimson Trace laser sights and lighting products. Contestants must follow safety rules and work to quickly find targets concealed in the darkness. Range safety officers will ensure that contestants follow the numerous rules and keep the activity safe.
