Newburgh, NY. – -(Ammoland.com)-   Public Safety and Education and contestants from the hit TV show, Top Shot, will instruct a New York State,Florida and Utah Multi State Pistol Permit Pre-Licensing Handgun Safety Courses at Orange County Choppers in Newburgh, NY on October 18, 2014.

Top Shot contestants from Season Four, Gary Shank, Keith Gibson, and Frank Melloni will join Army Veteran and Public Safety and Education founder, Matt Mallory, for one day of handgun instruction and safety courses.

“We will be offering top notch handgun training instructed by former contestants on the TV show Top Shot,” said lead instructor Matt Mallory.

“Along with the training there will be many door prizes, raffles for pistols personally owned by two of the Top Shots and a combined shotgun and rifle raffle with a silent auction for an Electronic Steel Target System to top it all off. The proceeds from the raffles and auction will be donated to the Hope for Heroes Foundation and The National Purple Heart Hall of Honor respectively.”

The four hour New York State Basic Handgun Safety Course fulfills the course requirement for obtaining a pistol permit (CCW) in the NY Counties of Albany, Cayuga, Chenango, Erie, Genesee, Herkimer, Jefferson, Madison, Niagara, Onondaga, Orange, Orleans, Oswego, Steuben, Sullivan, Ulster and Westchester.

The Non-Resident permit course will cover/provide the requirements for up to 35 states. Fingerprint cards to the photos needed to apply for your carry permit in both the states of Utah and Florida will be provided.

“It’s not often so many of us get together to do some work like this,” says Top Shot contestant and instructor Frank Melloni.

“As an instructor I always enjoy working with other instructors as we all have unique ways of teaching and demonstrations skills and tactics. This is extremely beneficial for students, as everybody responds to different approaches of the same material. We are looking forward to letting out some of the trade secrets that we have used to rise through the ranks and find ourselves where we are today. Matt has poured his heart and soul into this, its bound to be a once in a lifetime event.”
