TILLAR –-(Ammoland.com)- How do you celebrate a historical season?

Well, if you’re USA Shooting’s Shotgun Program, you gather everyone up, head to a new range to do some more shooting and make it mean something. USA Shooting’s Fall Selection Match is underway at the Delta Resort and Spa in Tillar. Competition goes through Saturday.

More than 170 competitors are taking part in the opening of the one-of-kind facility and the first new shotgun location USA Shooting has used since competing at the Tucson Trap and Skeet Field in 2012.

Located on 2,000 acres in the heart of southeastern Arkansas, the Delta Resort and Spa was planned as one of the largest sporting clays resorts in America and continues to evolve into the go-to destination for both wing and clay shooters. The Shooting Sports Complex at Delta Resort and Spa offers multiple disciplines geared for both the professional and novice shooter. Equipped with the very latest state-of-the-art traps by Promatic, Delta currently offers two 15-stand sporting clays courses, FITASC course, 5-stand course with practice course, five Olympic bunker trap stations four skeet fields and 12 ATA trap fields.

  • Wednesday, Nov. 12 – Skeet (75 targets)
  • Thursday, Nov. 13 – Skeet (50 targets and finals); Double Trap (150 targets and finals)
  • Friday, Nov. 14 – Skeet (75 targets); Double Trap (150 targets and finals)
  • Saturday, Nov. 15 – Skeet (50 targets and finals)
