Honeoye Falls, NY -(Ammoland.com)- The cold is upon us throughout most of the country and unfortunately that includes us here in Dallas.

This means that the holiday season is almost here, and that in turn means SHOT Show is just over the horizon.

As we get ready for this annual event, there is quite a bit of excitement from a number of companies at this next show. While there are a number of firearms announcements to be made in the coming days, and there are also a number of night vision products from ATN, TNVC, and IR Defense in the works as well.

Two of these, the ATN X-Sight scope and the IR Defense IR Hunter MkII are particularly exciting as we’ve gotten some hands on time with both of them via pre-production samples. The X-Sight is an advanced digital scope for use day/night and includes WiFi, GPS, e-zoom, internal recording, compass, and many smart features all with an MSRP of $749!

The IR Hunter MkII is a BAE 12um core version of the original IR Hunter, with more battery life and incredible image quality as well as many new features, this is the lowest-priced 640 system on the market right now. Look for more on both of these as soon as we can get some dedicated time with the units. Both should be available at our store this month in Canton, TX for those interested in checking them out in person.

Canton Trade Days

We will be closed on Thanksgiving, but open Friday November 28-30 2014 at the Canton Trade Days. As always the ARFCOM store will be featuring all the ARFCOM products and a lot of night vision equipment, representing most of the manufacturers of image intensifying and thermal gear.

This month we will be featuring some Black Friday specials, and have a number of new and cool products including the new ATN X-Sight and the IR Hunter MkII mentioned above courtesy of Ultimate Night Vision. If you have not had a chance to check out these products in person, they are simply incredible. We will post details as we get closer in the Trade Days thread.

GUNSTRUCTION 1.15 Patch

We’ve been a little behind with the updates, but our next patch will be coming soon. Version 1.15 should be out by the middle of November.

1.15 will be introducing magazine plates, and mag pulls, as well as adding in new M-Lok accessory support! We will also be introducing the full line of DuraCoat colors and camos.

On top of this we are proud to introduce some new partners to GUNSTRUCTION, especially Aero Precision, and BCM! Look for all new parts and rifles from these companies along with the new Magpul SL line and Vortex Spitfire Optics.

Lastly we have added some new rooms for users to use in photomode, including a good old fashion forum staple (feet included).

As we head towards the new year, GUNSTRUCTION continues to grow with over 90 manufacturers and over 1300 parts! We look to your feedback to make GUNSTRUCTION better, so let us know what you think in the forums.

As always, the GUNSTRUCTION team thanks you for all the support and feedback.

About:
AR15.Com originated in 1996 as a mailing list for firearm enthusiasts. As the years passed and interest grew, a website came into existence to present those same enthusiasts with a means to collect, share, and explore information. Shortly afterwards, a bulletin board was added to create a more interactive experience for the growing list of users. The site was still in it’s infancy, but was growing in popularity.
