United States -(Ammoland.com)- Whether you’re on the hunt or camping in the beauty of the great outdoors, having a sustainable & renewable energy source is vital to any enthusiast’s pack.

Measuring in at a mere 0.75” x 0.49” x 0.12” and weighing in at 9.4 Ounces, Olympia’s new SB5500 External Battery with Dual Solar Panels packs quite the punch for such a small package.

Designed for Olympia, the SB5500 features both an integrated USB cable and a micro-USB port for any and all charging necessities. With a rugged exterior guise created with outdoorsmen in mind, the SB5500 is perfect for the Outdoor Enthusiast or Hunter on the go.

The built-in dual solar charger panels allow for an efficient way to charge your small and mid-size electronic devices using the power absorbed from pure rays of sunshine. The device took a bit more than 3 days to fully charge in direct sunlight.

Not only can you charge the external battery using the power of the sun, but the integrated USB and micro-USB ports allow for a quick and easy charge using another electronic device such as a PC.

The 5V/1A USB Output is ideal for charging cellphones, while the 5V/2.1A USB Output is more ideal for the larger devices such as a tablet. While testing the SB5500, I’ve discovered that you can charge 3 electronic devices simultaneously, even whilst the product is currently charging itself.

The charge time for a mid-sized phone such as an iPhone 5S ran at around 2 & ½ hours and larger devices such as my very own Samsung Galaxy Note 4 ran at around 3 to 3 & ½ hours to fully charge the device.

  • 5500mAh Lithium Polymer Battery
