Cleveland, OH -(Ammoland.com)- Pyramyd Air, the world’s largest Internet airgun retailer, will host its second annual airgun competition, the Pyramyd Air Cup.
Shooters from all over the world, amatuer and professional alike, are welcome to compete for top spots in the gunslinger and field target competitions, as well as the popular PayDay Challenge. This exciting 3 day event will take place September 11-13, 2015 at the Tusco Rifle Club in New Philadelphia, Ohio.
For its second year, the Pyramyd Air Cup will offer the utmost in competitive airgunning excitement, with competitions to include:
- Gunslinger: A fast-draw competition combining speed and accuracy for a fun and challenging event. Competitors, paired up against each other, must knock down the designated targets at varying distances in the shortest time possible
- Field Target: This 2-day event will feature Open, Hunter and WFTF classes. The unpredictable September weather is sure to make striking the “kill zone” much more challenging.
- PayDay Challenge: Competitors in this event will test their skills to hit targets at 15, 25 and 40 yards, both in benched and offhand positions. The winner gets $200 from a mere $5 entry fee. How’s that for a pay day?
Competitors will compete based on airgun type: PCP or Springer. For both the field target and gunslinger competitions, prizes will be awarded to top place finishers. The Field Target portion of the event is governed under the rules of the American Airgun Field Target Association, and will be a Grand Prix level event. The event will be held in conjunction with the The Ohio Airgun & Field Target Shooters Association. Not competing? There will also be a “try me” range available to the general public. Airguns, ammo and accessories from leading manufacturers will be available to test – for FREE.
