MITCHELL, S.D. – -(Ammoland.com)- The Boyds innovation team has been hard at work, recently recreating a piece of American history.
The Boyds crew built a custom walnut hardwood gunstock and forearm for a Thompson sub machine gun for the scabbard mount on a military tribute Indian Motorcycle.
Klock Werks Kustom Cycles was commissioned by Indian Motorcycles to build a military tribute motorcycle that represents the partnership between Indian and the USO military service organization. The new Indian Scout is a military tribute style bike that reflects the heritage and roots of the Scout model. Klock Werks nicknamed the project “Pathfinder.”
Klock Werks called on America’s leading hardwood gunstock maker to provide a custom stock for the decommissioned Thompson sub machine gun featured in the scabbard mount of the Indian Scout motorcycle. Boyds created a one-of-a-kind walnut hardwood stock for the rifle, which features a custom laser engraved Indian logo on one side of the stock and a custom engraved USO logo on the other.

The Pathfinder project has recently begun a tour across the country to be showcased to motorcycle enthusiasts and pay tribute to the US Military and USO.
