Nevada: Updated List of Recognized Concealed Carry Permits

Fairfax, VA -(AmmoLand.com)- On Tuesday; June 23rd, the Nevada Department of Public Safety added Mississippi’s Enhanced permit to the list of out-of-state carry permits which are now recognized in Nevada.

As previously reported, this expansion is a result of Senate Bill 175 which passed the Legislature and was signed into law by Governor Sandoval on June 2, 2015. The State of Nevada will now recognize concealed weapons permits from the following states:

  • Alaska
  • Arizona
  • Arkansas
  • Delaware
  • Idaho (both types of permits)
  • Illinois
  • Kansas
  • Kentucky
  • Louisiana
  • Minnesota
  • Mississippi Enhanced permits
  • Montana
  • Nebraska
  • North Carolina
  • North Dakota (both types of permits)
  • Ohio
  • Oklahoma
  • Rhode Island
  • South Carolina
  • Tennessee
  • West Virginia
  • Wisconsin
  • Wyoming

Actually the ILA is the sellout Otis McDonald and get armed citizens killed branch of the NRA. Chris Cox & Chuck Cunningham may never set foot in the state of IL, but they pay money to contract lobbyist Todd Vandermyde to write Duty to Inform w/ criminal penalties of 6 MONTHS or 1 YEAR in jail for armed citizens in Rep. Brandon Phelps HB183 “good” “NRA backed” carry bill. That’s after the Federal court handed them victory on a platter. Thats great news ! I can use my AZ CCW now to carry open/concealed in NV ! NV still dont accept my home state Texas CHL or my non resident FL CWP though ! (FL issues their licenses through the FL Dept of Agriculture) I never have really understood that !
