Fairfax, VA -(AmmoLand.com)- Authorities in Jefferson County and the City of Arvada have proposed building a shooting range in western Arvada.

Because the proposed site is just 1.45 miles from a housing development, there will need to be noise abatement features considered in the design of the range. Nonetheless, some neighbors oppose the construction of the range citing noise concerns even though adequate noise abatement will be incorporated in the design.

Next Tuesday, June 23rd, please attend this public meeting and show your support for the proposed shooting range in the City of Arvada.

Where:

  • Cafeteria of Ralston Valley High School (Enter into the School’s front door and turn left)
  • 13355 W. 80th Avenue
  • 6:30p.m. – 8:00p.m. (anytime during this time frame)

Further details about the proposed shooting range and contact information for any questions you may have can be found here.
