Fairfax, VA -(AmmoLand.com)- As of Sunday, August 9, all private firearms transfers must be conducted through a firearms dealer absent limited exceptions.

Transfers include but are not limited to sales, loans, leases and gifts. This is a result of Senate Bill 941 which was passed by the legislature and signed by Governor Kate Brown earlier this year.

Gun shops beware; Bloomberg and his anti-gun groups are scouting Oregon dealers to film a “public service” announcement touting the regulations set forth in SB 941.

Northwest Armory and Wild Bill’s were among the shops that were recently approached, but declined the offer after realizing who was behind the scheme. Please share this information with Second Amendment supporters and gun dealers throughout Oregon so they can be aware of Bloomberg’s latest scheme to advance his anti-gun agenda.

Please check your email inbox and www.nraila.org for any further updates on these new regulations.

Spock says, “If the transfer is private, how is the government going to know unless you tell them?”

My thanks to the OreTards in our state government. Our recall effort failed for Bloomberg’s sycophant Wiley, but I still have hope that Pozanski will get the boot. You can bet our sitting Governor Brown will not get my vote come election time either.

I have dozens of guns from 1937 up… no sales receipt for all… not stolen ! ,not reported stolen, never registered,…. like most citizens, the STATE does not know who has any guns until you stop at one of their terminals and tell them…………… ahhhhhh… TELL THEM ? … BULLCRAP FOLKS ! Loan your gun to anyone you want, like the retired cop next door to me and tell the STATE and POZANSKI to stick it in his ASS.

I’d be willing to bet that there will be an awful lot of sales receipts, gifts, etc. dated Saturday, August 8th.

Oregon is gone to the dogs with this stupid ruling.
Voters should remember all the people that pushed this ridiculous,
time and money wasting issue through. I’m sure that every crook in
Oregon will abide by this rule. And the Tooth Fairy agrees with me !
