Winter Park, FL -(AmmoLand.com)- RSR Group, Inc. is excited to announce the grand opening of their new, state-of-the-art distribution center in Fort Worth, Texas, scheduled for Wednesday, September 2, 2015.
The new Fort Worth facility is 352,000 sq. ft. and has been enhanced with the latest technology to improve processing, expand our product offering and service dealers more efficiently. RSR Group’s new facility in Fort Worth more than doubles its current inventory storage space.
Additionally every aspect of the current operations was reevaluated in order to make the processing of customer orders more efficient while maintaining accuracy. With voice technology, software enhancements and more than a mile of conveyor system travelling through the warehouse, operations will see a substantial improvement in throughput with the same day order processing dealers have come to expect.
“38 years ago RSR started in a small two-car garage with big dreams,” says JoAnn Weisenford, RSR Group, Inc. President & CEO. “This expansion is very exciting for our company, and we recognize that this is a result of the dedication and support of our customers, our vendors and our employees.”
In order to facilitate the move, RSR’s warehouse operations will be closed two business days – Monday, August 31, 2015 and Tuesday, September 1, 2015. RSR’s sales and support teams will be working during this period. Dealers may continue to place orders online or by calling our toll free lines during the relocation period, and the orders will be held for processing on Wednesday, September 2nd.

I sure hope Ms Weisenford and RSR Group has implemented stringent hiring practices with regards to accurately vetting employees Legal status to work in Texas and all of the U.S. Employers have to take more responsibility in establishing identity of employees.
