Greeley, PA -(AmmoLand.com)- A year ago, Kahr Arms introduced their double-action micro-compact pistol – the Kahr CT380.

Following on the success of that diminutive size model, the .380 ACP is now being introduced in a dark graphite gray color called Cerakote Tungsten. In addition, the Kahr CW380, which was introduced in 2013, is also being offered in Cerakote Tungsten.

The CT3833TU features a 3.0 inch conventional rifled barrel, an overall length of 5.52 inches and a height of 4.4 inches. By comparison, the CW3833TU has a 2.58 inch barrel, an overall length of 4.96 inches and a height of just 3.9 inches. The CT3833TU weighs just 11.44 ounces without a magazine and the CW3833TU weighs 10.2 ounces.

The pistol has a black polymer frame and features 4140 steel inserts molded into the front and back of the frame for added rigidity. It has a machined, solid 416 stainless steel slide and a textured polymer grip. The Cerakote Tungsten finish on the slide, slide stop and lever on both models, makes it a strong appeal among gun owners.

Both pistols feature a lock breech, modified Browning type recoil lug, and utilizes Kahr’s seven patents including the “safe cam” action found in all Kahr pistols. The result is a micro-compact pistol with very little recoil and quick follow-up shots. The pistols feature drift adjustable white bar-dot combat rear sight and a pinned-in polymer front sight. The high temperature ceramic Cerakote coating is a multi-step process which results in a durable finish that holds up well under normal use.

Both models are part of the Value Series Plus collection and is only being produced in limited quantities for a limited time only. The CW380 and the CT380 Cerakote Tungsten is sold with an extra magazine and polymer case at the same MSRP as their standard Value Series .380 at $419.
