Illinois – -(Ammoland.com)- Do you remember when Dr. Ben Carson suggested that people should have rushed a shooter to overcome him? He was howled down by the mainstream media.

“What a stupid idea,” was the theme of their diatribes against Carson.

Then Paris happened. Some in Interpol (International Police Organization based in Lyon, France), suggested arming civilians, a shocker for Europe.

Now, District of Columbia Police Chief Cathy Lanier suggested that intended victims may need to take down the shooter. Lanier is anti-gun and Washington DC has made gun ownership and concealed carry nearly impossible. Of course, it would be a lot easier if citizens were armed.

We will see if Chief Lanier puts her money where her very big mouth is. One person who isn’t a lot of talk is Sheriff John Urquhart of King County, Washington. He has asked that deputies carry sidearms off-duty due to the world situation.

You are probably aware of the murder of an Indiana pastor’s wife and unborn baby. Authorities caught two or three of the perpetrators but that won’t bring those two people back. Apparently the minister did not lock the door when he left. I’m not saying this would have changed the outcome but he should have at least locked the door. Some people think that because they are good people, they are naturally protected and that nothing bad will happen to them. One common response victims have made is “This can’t be happening to me – I’m a good person.”

Well, bad things do happen to good people. That is the way it is. It is up to each of us to be prepared and ready. That is just the way it is.

In the meantime, Hillary Clinton is out collecting her anti-gun laurels by being honored by the Brady Campaign for her anti-gun efforts.

I wish you the best on this Thanksgiving Day.

Part of the problem is that we have more sheep today than in the past. There are more who fear the sheepdogs, who smear the warriors, who delegitimize the Patriots, than there are men who stand by them. Wolves will always prowl the woodlands. Some are even elected by the sheep to sit in office and plan their intent. But when will the strong finally have enough and speak out against the ignorance of the weak, and demand the right to continue defending them?

Evil will always be among us, at least for the foreseeable future.

No law(s), past, present or future will stop an Evil person(s) for doing Evil things to other citizens.

Refuse to be a victim, get training, use all your options, tactical weapons, OC sprays, firearms if you like.

Sometimes violence is the ONLY answer.

When good people are armed good things happen to bad people.
