Simple logic precludes the concept of a single product that can simultaneously perform both the task of degreasing and of lubricating. FrogLube’s two product system has been designed to attack the excess problem in two ways. First, the degreasing solvents and super degreasers are water based and penetrating. They work against sticky and gummy residues by breaking them down into emulsified, diluted fluid which is easily removed by high velocity air and drying. The second part of reducing excess lies in the fact that FrogLube CLP products absorb into metal. Once your lube has been installed, the excess may be wiped off and a clean, dry slick surface remains. No filming or dust collecting can happen since there is nothing to stick to. All FrogLube CLP products are ‘heat sensitive’ and will reappear once the firing sequence begins. Lube is now going where it’s needed; the hot, moving surfaces of your firearm.

Once again nothing but another unsubstantiated conclusion. Please provide references for supposedly unrealistic testing. Reviewing Frog Lube testimonials is like listening to a herd of cattle all mooing at the same time. Herd animals do not provide real materials information no matter how many moo at the same time. Considering frog lube, when I bought a new Vera-max I had wondered about freeze-up due to living in mid-Michigan. I followed the directions, heated the parts mildly, let the lube do its thing, and I could not be happier. I have to admit I am somewhat skeptical with all the banter about wonder lubes. I have heard it for well over thirty years, but Frog Lube is the real deal. I waterfowl hunt, so my shot-gun is exposed to all kinds of water-mud-and such, still no problems.
Have had only one problem with Frog Lube, and it was my bad, by not applying correctly as instructed. Used excessive amounts in the hammer main spring of a 1911 pistol! It gummed it up to reduce hammer striking power!
I’ve used FrogLube products on every firearm I own (and I own quite a few) and I can honestly say that every single one of them functions significantly, even noticeably better as in you can physically hear the difference. It really is like making an old tired dry gun function like brand new again via virtually eliminating the majority of friction noise made by load-bearing surfaces. I honestly can’t say enough about how well this stuff actually works.
