A family man, loving husband, father, friend, mentor, man of faith, a true American Patriot. Why is it always the best among us that seem to be taken from us first?
We vow to continue on with LaVoy’s legacy; his sacrifice will not be in vain.

The funeral services for LaVoy will be held today in Kanab, Ut at the Kabab Stake Center, 1435 S. McAlester dr., Kanab UT
Viewing is from 11- 2 pm funeral services starts at 2:30 pm.
There will be a fundraising memorial concert at the Kanab Middle School, 690 South Cowboy Way in Kanab that starts at 5:30 pm. 100% of the donations raised go directly to the Finicum family.
Jordan Page and members of Finicum family will be performing at this fund raising event.

Whether or not you agree with what he did or who he was, this man gave his life in pursuit of all of our freedoms including the freedom that you have to speak your mind against his actions. RDNK-the cop that left cover was an idiot to get in front of the speeding truck, and he is the guy that took the first shot at LaVoy. As for LaVoy, He had not been charged with anything. I’ve read the complaint, and it appears that they had no warrant in hand, and that the warrants were written after the incident. The police are the felons.

If Lavoy Finicum is a hero and a patriot we have real problems. This man was always mugging for the camera and trying to justify something that was illegal and wrong. This hero almost killed a OSP officer when he tried to drive around the barricade. This hero exited the vehicle like a mad man refusing verbal commands and then reaching for a weapon in his coat ! Hey Gary. I think we both agree that Lavoy made several tactical mistakes in handling th he recent situation at malhure. However calling him a criminal is grossly unfair. The day he was killed he was enroute to a meeting with the sherrif and residents of a neighboring county. Hardly something a criminal would consider doing.
