McLean, VA -(AmmoLand.com)- FN America, LLC is pleased to announce that FN Pro Team captain Dave Sevigny has scored back-to-back wins and division champion titles for the company’s competitive shooting team at the 2016 USPSA Florida Open held February 17-21, 2016 in Frostproof, FL and USPSA Area 2 Championship held March 2 – 6, 2016 in Mesa, AZ.
Sevigny won Production Division in both matches against a stacked field of competitors, many of which were of Grand Master class, earning a decisive 68-point and 162-point margin between him and the second place finishers in both matches. Competing with the FNS-9 Longslide pistol, Sevigny fired a combined 600-plus rounds over the multiple stages.
The Florida Open is a Nationals-quality tournament, as is with Area 2, with target arrays that force you to be patient on the sights and easy on the trigger in order to score good hits,” said Sevigny, FN Pro Team Captain. “The key is to compete with a product that is reliable and consistent each time you hit the range, both of which are qualities I find in the FNS.”
