The truth is revealed on how the anti gunners really think of women and their rights.
Fairfax, VA -(AmmoLand.com)- The NRA family blog is running updated or modern fairytales where the protagonists are armed. The anti-gun left’s heads are collectively exploding. I think we need to discuss their issues with these stories.
In the modern version of the story strong independent and prepared women defend themselves and are alive at the end of the story. In the antique version, the grandmother is torn apart and eaten, and her granddaughter needs to wait for a man to come and save her from the same fate. (I see Ann Richards rolling over in her grave.) But this is the left’s new vision of feminism. Wait for a man to come and save you? Don’t be responsible for your life or your protection? SERIOUSLY??
Is the left so far gone that they will surrender all of their core beliefs of feminism and sexual equality rather than agree with the NRA?
But that’s not the whole story the modernized version was NOT written by the NRA; it was written by a blogger named Amelia Hamilton. She writes children’s book ( available on Amazon) about patriotism and American history. Her website links to more of her books and other works: https://ameliahamilton.weebly.com.
The NRA put her work up on one of their sites. The first two stories teach strength, independence, and self-reliance. I suppose that is why the anti-gun left hate them so much. Hopefully, she’ll keep writing these modern parables.
So here is an excerpt from part of one of her stories:
“The wolf leaned in, jaws open wide, then stopped suddenly. Those big ears heard the unmistakable sound of a shotgun’s safety being clicked off. Those big eyes looked down and saw that grandma had a scattergun aimed right at him. He realized that Grandmother hadn’t been backing away from him; she had been moving towards her shotgun to protect herself and her home.”
GO NANA GO! I say.
The left-wing view of the world and their lesson to women is simple, better to let yourself be raped or killed than to use a gun to defend yourself. Victim-hood, how …progressive of you.
There are a dozen articles blasting the NRA about these stories, mostly from people who it appears never read Amelia’s fine works. But I suppose that is not to be unexpected from the ignorant sheep on the left.
