Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, MX -(AmmoLand.com)- BRP inaugurates today its new manufacturing facility in Juárez, Mexico that provides the company with the capacity to meet its growth plans in the off-road industry.

“BRP is committed to introducing a new side-by-side model every six months over the next four years. This state-of-the-art facility, operated by a strong team of employees with excellent knowledge of our processes and values, will support us in meeting that objective,” said José Boisjoli, president and CEO. “The facility is central to achieving the growth, agility and Lean enterprise objectives of our strategic plan.”

The Can-Am Defender side-by-side vehicle, launched in September 2015, is assembled in this facility. This model is BRP’s entry into the utility segment, the largest and fastest-growing of the off-road industry, which represents an important growth vector for the company.

“I would like to highlight the collaboration and support of the governments of Juárez and Chihuahua, which were instrumental in the construction of this new facility,” said Sylvain Blanchette, vice-president of operations for Mexico and Canada. “BRP has always had excellent relations with local government in Juárez and we are very grateful to them for that.”

BRP now assembles vehicles and engines across three sites in Mexico. It is recognized as an employer of choice in Mexico thanks to its competitive wages, salaries and benefits.

Boycott BRP.

I agree with all of these other Americans. They build the plants to make goods to sell them in the United States. I do not buy things made anywhere but the USA if I can, or I just do without. And another place we have to watch is food, there is more and more food coming from china and other places. I will not eat anything from China. Watch the labels .

james

No FICA payroll taxes for BRP, no OSHA either.

Robert

Picket any dealer selling these products. Then they will regret going to Mexico.
Side note.Thank you Democrat representative for forcing good paying jobs by creating the EPA etc.

jack

No way Jose! Don’t want you or your products here.

It’s funny reading these comments. If you look around you everything you purchase drive and live in and use on a daily bases is made somewhere else. So don’t drive to work in the morning or even ride your bike. It’s all made else where. Look closely to everything you have and see how much is made here in the USA anymore. It’s sad what has happened. It’s like I always said. The men dressed in pants made this country and the men in suits destroyed it.

So yeah, this is great for Mexico. Glad to hear that. Get those folks working huh? Personally I will be on the look out for every opportunity to chat with my pals about buying anything else…Them and FORD, best they can be for Mexico. No I guess I just haven’t gotten right yet with the one North American Nation idea. I still support the USA.

I’m a Polaris customer. They’re headquartered and made in Minnesota USA. I’d much rather keep our dollars in our own country and support out own people.

Rick

I sure wont be purchasing anything from BRP!

jack

Polaris fired 1000 American workers and went South.

Hum, I think I remember Trump talking about something like this. They get the factories because of dirt cheap labor and in turn we get their criminals. Could Trump be correct?

watchdogman

Not made in the USA, never will buy…

No such thing as a “reasonable” profit anymore. Gotta squeeze every penny. I don’t like the Mexican Connection. But, is it really that different from something made in Japan or China? Also, the big 3 ( Ford, Chevy, Dodge) have been manufacturing in Mexico for decades and we still buy their products …

Would’ve been nicer to read if Americans had gotten some jobs from this. However, El Paso politicians have a way of keeping big business and good paying jobs out of the area. This makes driving in El Paso more dangerous due to Mexican trucks and drivers bringing these products in.

It’s a very fine looking facility . I imagine they have fine , hard working employees . Their product ,is probably very good. The problem is , IT IS NOT IN AMERICA !!!!

Chuck

They build these out of the Country buildings so they can build and sell the USA? Not from me!!!

TRUTH BE TOLD

Thanks ammoland for warning us against buying these south of the boarder sellouts….

Dont buy brp… again thanks Ammolame

Steve

That’s just what I was thinking.
