You know like we are having the coldest spring in recorded history and somehow that is caused by “global warming” even though NASA (a government agency) has shown without a shadow of a doubt that the ice packs at both poles are larger than ever recorded.

It is the same in my small rural town (population 4,304) in eastern Kommiecticut. I can not think of one household in town that I know that does not own at least one firearm. Most own several, and most of those people carry on a regular basis. Many others hunt. Violent crime is practically zero….but how can that be? Isn’t there supposed to be blood running in the streets? Gun fights over parking spaces?
No, of course not, because everyone knows an armed society is a polite society. Guns aren’t the problem, CRIMINALS with guns are the problem.
I think you might find that homicides by firearm is pretty high (if not the highest) among the developed nations of the world. Check wikipedia pages for confirmation.
Oh yes, let’s look at the most left leaning and thus least reliable source, on this topic at least, in America, wiki. I trust them on topics like as just a far as I can throw the Empire State Building. Something like 0.0%. Now on subjects not related to socialist pandering, skewing of truth, etc., I do like wiki. They have good photos of old aircraft, ships, and many other things, BUT, when it comes to anything that may be influenced by leftist, socialist, communist thinking, NOPE!

Interestingly I read Wiki and david is full of poo poo. Wiki admits that the US ranks 28th even though they account for 50% of the guns in the world. As well, even the CDC says that there is NO CONCLUSIVE EVIDENCE linking gun ownership with murder. Domestic violence and spousal murder rates are the same in states where gun ownership is restricted or not, the weapon is all that changes. David, to look at homicides by firearm to the exclusion of other forms of homicide is to artificially load the argument. The means of death will obviously include more guns in places that have more guns, just as there are more auto deaths per capita in countries with more automobiles per capita. I doubt people care much about the weapon used and more about their likelihood to be killed in general. Well, DUH!!! Anybody with even one brain cell can figure out that an armed citizenship is a polite citizenship is a safe citizenship. This simply proves that fact. If I had the resources, I’d move to Texas. The people there, even the ones that typically cause trouble in other states, are VERY polite and courteous. Many people are also armed and the typical troublemakers know that.
