It is critical that you read all of the underhandedness that has been going on in Concord, NH.
For many years, we have been able to keep the anti-gun wolves at bay with simple phone calls and letters, while other states have had to resort to much more significant tactics, like protests and boycotts. I hope we never have to get there.
However, the rules were changed last week.
Unbeknownst to all of us, “EVERYTOWN FOR GUN SAFETY ACTION FUND” which is known to most Gun Owners as “EVERYTOWN FOR GUN BANS” has been spending money on lobbyists in New Hampshire to do their dirty work. This was the first that we were aware of that Bloomberg’s pawns have actually been spending money to enact New York style gun control in New Hampshire. Let’s make it the last time!
The amendment being pushed by EVERYTOWN needs to be stopped! Furthermore, it is critical that NO New Hampshire based company profits over the loss of your civil rights!
This recent finding, that groups are hiring lobbyists, has caused the leadership of NHFC to do some research on who is being hired and by which groups.
We also found the paper trail that shows that the New Hampshire Association of Chiefs of Police has been busy using your taxpayer dollars to fund a lobbyist to testify against your civil right to be armed. It seems to me that that organization is acting like part of the gun ban lobby. Last year alone they paid over $40,000 to a single lobbying firm. The lobbyist, Elizabeth Sargent spent quite a bit of time working against your civil right to be armed. If you are offended by having your taxpayer money spent this way, feel free to call Sheehen Phinney Capitol Group (603) 228-2370 and let them know that you are keeping an eye on them and will be looking at their clients in the future.
In the mean time it is The DuPont Group that is being paid by former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg to take away your rights. That is what requires our involvement this Tuesday, April 26 at 10 AM.
Rep. Dave Welch, who is the Vice Chair of the Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee will attempt to pass an amendment that was drafted and requested by EVERYTOWN for Gun Safey (sic). The best way to stop this is to show up at the hearing on Tuesday morning and sign in as opposed to amendment 2016-1405h. If you cannot make it, please consider calling the committee assistant at (603) 271-3419 and asking her politely to leave a note for the members of the Criminal justice Committee that you are strongly opposed to amendment 2016-1405h. Or you can use this link to email the entire committee at once. Tell them to send amendment 2016-1405h back to the Soviet Satellite State of New York from where it came. If New York wants to only allow the criminals to be armed, that is their decision, but we in New Hampshire like our firearms to be in the hands of the law abiding citizens.
