Chapin, SC -(Ammoland.com)- United Sporting Companies (USC) announces the hire of Ted Raiman as Sr. Vice-President of Operations.
Ted will work in the USC Chapin office and report directly to CEO Brad Johnson starting April 4, 2016. Ted will be responsible for all distribution and transportation related activities for USC. Reporting to Ted will be Kevin Harte, VP of Compliance & Operations, Todd Ivester, Director of Operations, Ellett and Joel Palmer, Director of Transportation, USC.

Ted joins USC with significant expertise in logistics, distribution, supply chain and purchasing functions. He has held a number of positions with increasing responsibility including 13 years as the Director of Supply Chain and Plant Materials Manager at the Hunt Corporation in Statesville, NC, VP of Supply Chain & Logistics with Elmer’s Products in Columbus, OH during the Hunt Corporation merger, Executive VP of Supply Chain and Distribution with Central Garden & Pet Company in Atlanta, GA, Executive VP of Supply Chain and Logistics with Furniture Values International in Phoenix, AZ, VP of Global Supply Chain with Reynolds Consumer Products in Richmond, VA, Director of Materials and Distribution with Honeywell Aerospace in Phoenix, AZ and most recently a consultant for Simpler Consulting where he helped develop strategic sustainable advantages for his clients through supply chain and distribution excellence.
Ted received an MBA in Operations from Appalachian State University and a BA in economics from the Nazareth College of Rochester, NY. Ted is certified for Purchasing Management (CPM) and Production and Inventory Management (CPIM).
Mr. Raiman is married, has two grown children and will reside and work in the Chapin, SC area.
