Columbus, GA -(AmmoLand.com)- The Reel Motion Sound-Activated Decoy System in Realtree MAX-5 by Volterra Outdoors is the first sound-activated automated decoy rig to hit the market.

Say goodbye to calling ducks with one hand while pulling a jerk string with the other – then flaring ducks by dropping the jerk string and picking up your shotgun to fire.

Reel Motion allows hunters to operate up to 10 decoys simultaneously. Here’s how it works: When you blow your call, the battery-powered reel spins when triggered by the voice automation, tugging the string of decoys, causing tantalizing and lifelike motion from your decoys while sending ripples through the water. The decoys actually swim 10 to 12 feet in one direction, then turnaround and come back. So each cycle consists of 20 to 24 feet of swimming – the only rig on the market that features such incredible distance.

Set up is easy – simply push the two 24-inch stakes into the ground or even into the water, set your volume sensitivity control, and start calling in ducks. Reel Motion features outstanding battery life with five hours of run time with 8 to 10 decoys – the ideal spread for hunting ducks in a marsh or flooded timber.

“There is nothing on the market like Reel Motion,” said Keith Jennings, director of sales and marketing for Volterra Outdoors. “Some of the nation’s most passionate and experienced duck hunters have tested it – from the rice fields of California and Arkansas to the cornfields in Nebraska and Iowa up to the prairies in Canada and throughout the Midwest and potholes in Michigan.”
