FAIRFAX, Va. –-(Ammoland.com)- On Nov. 14, 2016, one week after the 2016 Presidential election, 1,000 freedom-loving Americans will join together, showcasing American firearms pride, in an effort to set a world record for most rifles fired simultaneously.

The Henry Repeating Arms 1,000 Man Shoot, Presented by NRA, will take place at the Ben Avery Shooting Facility in Phoenix, Ariz.

Joining Henry Repeating Arms and NRA in supporting this landmark shooting spectacle are sponsors Winchester Ammunition, who will provide all ammunition for the event, and Baron Technology Engraving, who will adorn each of the Golden Boy Silver rifles with custom engraving unique to the Henry 1,000 Man Shoot.

“We created an event that is going to be patriotic, fun, and a statement of community, one that people are going to be proud to participate in and be part of firearms history,” said Henry Repeating Arms President Anthony Imperato. “Most importantly, this event is going to benefit the NRA.”

The Henry Golden Boy Silver Rifles to be used were chosen due to their unique place in the Henry Repeating Arms signature collection. Participants in the 1,000 Man Shoot will have the opportunity to purchase one of these limited-run rifles, only used during the event.

The Ben Avery Shooting Facility was chosen as the site of the event as it is one of only handful of ranges in the nation capable of hosting an event of this caliber. The facility spans 1,650 acres in north Phoenix, and hosts more than 120,000 shooters annually.

“We’re proud that the Ben Avery Shooting Facility was chosen to host this world-record event,” said Arizona Game and Fish Director Larry Voyles.

“The Arizona Game and Fish Department puts a great deal of effort in making this one of the premier shooting ranges in the country, accommodating shooters of all abilities.”

Don’t miss this opportunity to help set a new world record!

Wish I could travel to Az and participate in this great event. Like millions of other gun owners, it is just impossible for me to do, but I have been thinking about a way for legal gun owners to be heard before the election In November.

Pick a date and a time and every legal gun owner fire a weapon in a safe and legal place. It may not be the shot that was heard around the world, but it would be heard across this great country. How about it NRA, can you get on board?
