Media Matters’ Claims Timothy Johnson Does “Leg Work for Terrorists”

When veteran US Navy SEAL and NRA Commentator Dom Raso warned that radical Islamic terrorists were in America, planning to attack gun-free shopping malls three months ago, Timothy Johnson, an anti-Second Amendment writer for Media Matters, accused Raso and the NRA of deception, fear-mongering and even doing “leg work for terrorists.” (Note to Johnson: Raso spent 12 years killing terrorists to protect the freedoms Americans are privileged to enjoy. That’s hardly doing leg work).

Raso’s warning was unfortunately realized this past weekend, when an Islamic extremist made references to Allah while brutally stabbing nearly a dozen innocent people at a gun-free mall in St. Could, Minnesota. Had it not been for an off duty officer who shot and killed the terrorist, many more could have been injured or killed. Even in gun-free zones, the only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun.

Following the horrific event, Johnson took to his Media Matters page. Instead of writing about the threat of radical Islamic terror or the dangers of gun-free zones, the art-history major continued his attacks on Raso and the NRA. Johnson also made a bizarre attempt to manipulate Raso’s commentary (now proven accurate) as a means to attack Donald Trump. Since one can’t make this stuff up, read some of the anti-Second Amendment writer’s musings below:

“Despite Trump’s recent comments connecting terrorism and “freedom of the press,” Trump was not as critical in July when the National Rifle Association, which has endorsed Trump for president, released a video where an NRA employee cased a real shopping mall in Oklahoma to show how to carry out the ‘perfect’ mass shooting terrorist attack.”

Note that Johnson forgot to mention the radical Islamic terror attack on a gun-free mall in Minnesota.

One of the many freedoms people like Raso put their lives on the line to protect is the right to free speech. An American citizen can voice his or her opinion on firearms. That’s their right. But when a so-called journalist like Johnson ignores a radical Islamic terror attack and then uses a veteran US Navy SEAL’s warning that gun-free malls are being targeted … well, that seems to be doing “leg work for terrorists.”

Watch Raso’s “Radical Islamic Terrorists Targeting Gun-Free Malls,” share his important message and tune into NRATV.com on October 4 for the veteran Navy SEAL’s newest commentary. And don’t hesitate to let Timothy Johnson and Media Matters (@mmfa) know that when it comes to protecting ourselves and our loved ones, we will always take the word of a soldier over the deceit of an agenda-driven “journalist.”

Mr. Johnson and half of the country are in denial, with plenty of ridicule and contempt for Mr. Raso and the other half of us, who are trying to save them….. from themselves. Sounds “normal” to me. Strength through Faith.

I’m in a state with Constitutional carry, but I like the idea of carrying a copy of the 2nd Amendment as my “permit” since that’s the Supreme Law of the Land, it outranks any sign. In fact, Jack, the only thing I can think of that’s dumber than bringing a knife to a gunfight is bringing a (gun-free zone) sign to a gunfight, that’s what I always say.

As far as I’m concerned there are no “gun free zones”. Keep it concealed and nobody knows unless you have to use it, then nobody cares. I’m a retired cop and have been carrying for over 40 years. My family and my safety are far more important than a friggin sign. If you are a responsible permit holder and keep your skills up to speed use your own judgement where you carry. Don’t give in to some anti gun establishment that’s not smart enough to realize we are in a war and that legal gun carriers are our first defense.… Read more »

This “gun free zone” business is really a form of suicide if you think about it. I am positive the criminals and terrorists, etc will certainly follow that nonsense right? Yeah, good luck with that. Folks, we really need to wake up and wake up d@mn quickly!
