Virginia – -(Ammoland.com)- Virginia Citizens Defense League (VCDL) has enjoyed immense success because of you, our members. So, when we were looking for ways to draw more attention to Lobby Day 2017, we immediately thought of….YOU!

We are holding a contest to get ideas of ways to advertise Lobby Day 2017. We need your help and know you are up to the challenge.

Simply design posters, flyers, sayings that can go on billboards, etc. Put your ideas in digital format and upload them to: https://vcdl.org/postercontest

Have your kids help if you like, but parents must enter for children under 18.

We are looking for things that will let people know about the event, what we do, and how to attend. If you need inspiration, there are links on the contest page to the Lobby Day 2017 Facebook page and to videos from previous Lobby Days.

We will screen the entries for clarity, effectiveness, and originality, then select the best ones as finalists. Then we will need your help again…you get to vote for the winners!

Artwork can be uploaded until October 15th 2016 and voting will be from October 16th through November 15th 2016. You can upload as many entries as you like, but you may only vote once. Prizes are as follows:

  • FIRST PLACE: 3-Years membership ($25/year value) and $30 credit in the VCDL Store
  • SECOND PLACE: 2-Years membership ($25/year value) and $20 credit in the VCDL Store
  • THIRD PLACE: 1-Year membership ($25/year value) and $10 credit in the VCDL Store

Plus, you may get to see your artwork on a billboard along I-95! Full details and contest rules are on the website at: https://vcdl.org/postercontest

We know we can count on you!

Lobby Day will be more important this year than ever and we need to get the word out. So upload your ideas! We are looking forward to seeing them.
