Gainesville, TX -(AmmoLand.com)- Blaze Brothers Production’s World War II anthology film “The Front” is releasing at DMAX Cinema, The Texas Theatre and the Museum of the American G.I.

The opening weekend at DMAX Cinema coincides with History Alive Weekend 2016, hosted by Camp Howze MVPA, this historical reenactment event features many of the vehicles used in The Front. The Texas Theatre Red Carpet Event will have many of the cast & crew in attendance. The October 15th showing is coinciding with Tires, Tracks, and Tents. A Military Vehicle Rally hosted by the museum.

Camp Howze MVPA helped produce The Front by providing authentic WWII vehicles, living historians who appear as extras and characters in the film, and providing access to several locations in Gainesville, where the film was shot. The film was made in Texas and Oklahoma and showcases local talent. Starring in the film is Deward Lawrence, Jovan Martin, Robb Hudspeth, Mike Buckendorf, Jackson Elliott, Anne Beyer and Josh Durham. Many of whom will be attending the Dallas premiere.

The Museum of the American GI’s event will have military vehicles on display, Huey Helicopter rides, Sherman Tank rides, small arms demonstrations and of course, showing The Front to crowds of military history enthusiasts.

The Front started out as a small, independent project. Funded out of pocket by its three producers, Deward Lawrence, Jon & Nathan Blaze and a handful of enthusiastic Indiegogo contributors. It aims to provide a historical and entertaining glimpse of WWII from the perspectives of six different characters.
