Celebrate Freedom With Tribute to Veterans, Those Who Serve

WILMINGTON, NC. -(Ammoland.com)- AARP is hosting the region’s largest celebration to honor Veterans and those who serve their community and nation at “A Celebration of Our Freedom,” on Saturday, November 12.

The free celebration, from noon until 8:00 pm at Battleship NC Park, will feature the aerial acrobatics of the Bandit Flight Team, the Motown sounds of the Legacy Motown Review, the Imitations Band, Gracie the Clown, a flag trade-in, and movies on board the fantail of the USS North Carolina.

The day-long celebration in honor of Veterans will also include discount Battleship admission all weekend beginning November 11-13th as well as water taxi rides.
