ACTION ITEM: We need to have a big turnout on January 3rd 2017, when the Campbell County Board of Supervisors is going to have a public hearing on allowing the complex to be built!

Date/Time: January 3rd at 5:30pm

Location:

Campbell County Treasurer Office
85 Carden Lane
Rustburg, VA 24588

**If you live in Campbell County, it is especially important that you attend and speak!**

That said, numbers are important, so please come to the meeting even if you don’t live in the County. I’m sure that many of you will come to Campbell County to use those facilities and spend money in the County while doing so!

If you speak, simply indicate why it would be a great idea to have such a range: teaching citizens gun-safety and marksmanship, the fun and camaraderie of shooting and competing, the importance of training police officers at such a nice facility, etc. (We need people to focus on things other than the Second Amendment, as we’ve already got that argument covered in spades.)

If you can’t make the Board of Supervisors meeting, you can send an email in support.

Email address for the Board of Supervisors: [email protected]

Suggested subject: Please support the proposed shooting complex at Liberty University!

Suggested message:

Dear Board of Supervisors member,

I urge you to support the proposed shooting complex at Liberty University. This should be an excellent facility, which will benefit not only Virginia gun owners and police, but will also bring more business to the County.

Sincerely,
[your name]

You should certainly seek input from the NRA, USPSA and IDPA organisations for how to operate and maintain such an endeavor. Here in Hollidaysburg, PA 16648 at the Hollidaysburg Sportsmans Association we have such a set-up. I am member number 316 and live close by. The website is http://www.pahsca.com to check it out. “Allowing”….. freemen don’t need to ask permission what they do with their property…. lest they not actually own it…

Brian

We don’t own property in the United States, we lease it from the government. If we owned it they could never take it away, they could not tell us what we can or can’t do with our property, and most certainly our God given rights would exist unconditionally on our own property.

Just like they did to the American Indians, when white mans chief wants something he takes it.
