PASO ROBLES, Calif., –-(Ammoland.com)- Long-time CEO and President Ed Weatherby passed the day-to-day leadership baton to his son Adam at Weatherby Inc., one of the world’s most venerable firearm manufacturers.
Like his Father, Adam grew up surrounded by the legacy of the Weatherby name and all that it represents in firearm excellence, cartridge innovation, hunting passion and conservation commitment.

Since 1983, Adam’s Father Ed has been President and CEO of Weatherby Inc. in Paso Robles, California.
According to Ed, “I grew up absorbing everything about rifles and cartridges from my Dad, whether we were in the shop working or out in the field hunting. It was an amazing journey, and one I was able to pass on to my own son. Now it’s Adam’s time to continue our family’s legacy, and I’m very proud of him.”
The executive change at Weatherby will be seamless, fluid and will not affect Weatherby’s process of delivering superior quality rifles, shotguns and premium ammunition to the gunmaker’s loyal dealer network and customers.
Following Adam Weatherby’s inauguration, Ed will remain involved at Weatherby serving as Executive Chairman for the family-owned and operated business.

Weatherby is building quality firearms. I believe with Adam Weatherby as President of Weatherby, that will continue. I own a new Weatherby Mark V Accumark in 6.5-300 Weatherby Magnum. So far I’m pleased with it. The best part is, they are made in the USA.

@Viscount, I just love my Mark V. It has a terrifically smooth trigger, and it is more accurate than the usual hunting rifle.
