USA -(Ammoland.com)- The Trump Administration is underway, despite the tactics to slow down the President’s cabinet picks, by Senate Democrats.

The first picks, which needed to be approved, are those which deal with national security such as Department of Defense, Department of State, Department of Homeland Security, the CIA and others.

It is evident that the left wingers believe their political agenda is more important than the United States of America.

The demonstrations that erupted across the country were not spontaneous, by any stretch of the imagination. More than 50 groups participated in some 600 demonstrations and represented the Fascist Left, a prime mover in the anti-gun movement and very dangerous.

They were funded by George Soros, to the tune of $90,000,000, for just this one demonstration. We will hear more from the Fascist Left, no doubt.

It is very seldom that I read a magazine cover to cover, but that is exactly what I did with USCCA’s “Concealed Carry” January issue. I enjoyed every article. One of my favorite sections is the “Drill of the Month”.

As most of you know, I don’t believe anyone, including me, can get enough training. The “Drill of the Month” helps by introducing unfamiliar drills into your practice. Taking a class is even better, even if it is only one day.

The article entitled “Training Gap” deals with the need to be familiar with first aid. As an NRA Coach, I am required to maintain a Red Cross first aid card. When I became an instructor, I threw a couple of Band-Aids in my shooting bag and went on my merry way. I soon realized I should get a first aid kit. The first one I bought was about the size of two pistol cartridge boxes.

Then, I bought an industrial first aid kit. It was an improvement, but it still didn’t have what was needed. I began watching television shows dedicated to hunter survival, for people who live in isolated areas. I could find upgraded medical kits, but I thought it would be best to take a class from someone who knew what to do with the stuff in them.

I soon found that my old friend, John Krupa of Spartan Tactical, offered such a class. The class is taught by experienced EMT’s. If you take the class, you will have an idea of what you should have and where to get it. I recommend this class to every instructor and range officer. It will be offered at the ISRA Range on March 4, 2017.

I have to admit that I have never been a fan of the Beretta M9 pistol, but I have a couple of them for teaching U. S. Military personnel. The United States Army has now chosen the Sig Sauer P320 as the M9 replacement.

The Sig Sauer P320 has a modular design and can be adapted for grip size, caliber and other ways for different purposes. Now I have to buy a P320 to teach military personnel. The sacrifices I have to make.
