Athens, AL-(Ammoland.com)- Shoot Like A Girl announced their 2016 results in their Annual Report, and show a financial impact to the shooting sports industry of over $15,000,000. Since the company’s inception, Shoot Like A Girl has seen monumental growth each year and has created new gun and bow owners, new hunters and new outdoor enthusiasts bringing their total of new revenue to the outdoor industry of more than $55 million since 2009.

The report highlighted the following significant statistics for 2016, which are a direct result of ladies shooting in the state-of-the-art mobile range: of the 2,539 clients they saw at their range 90% committed to purchasing a firearm, 56% committed to purchasing a bow, 8% hunted for the first time and 55% are now more active in shooting sports.

The report also highlighted Shoot Like A Girl’s retail training program they provide to Cabela’s as part of a campaign to make them the premier retail destination for female shooting-sport enthusiasts. Through the training program created and instructed by Shoot Like A Girl, Cabela’s gun counter and archery departments are given female-specific sales education. Last year the company trained 217 Outfitters in 14 stores and will train all of the stores in the next two years.

Anything that encourages women to learn to safely handle firearms, own and carry firearms is something that we should all do everything in our power to encourage. Every time a politician backs a law that keeps law abiding citizens from carrying firearms our question to them should be; “oh, so you really don’t care if women are raped, robbed and murdered do you?
