PEORIA, Ariz. -(Ammoland.com)- Apex Tactical Specialties, the leading manufacturer of aftermarket drop-in firearms parts, announces the immediate availability of two versions of their Action Enhancement Trigger & Duty/Carry Kit for the new M&P M2.0 from Smith & Wesson.

Available with either a polymer (#100-126) or aluminum (#100-179) trigger body, the Apex Action Enhancement Trigger & Duty/Carry Kit replaces the factory hinged trigger with the more ergonomic and responsive Apex trigger, featuring a center-mounted pivoting safety, and delivers a smoother trigger pull with an overall reduction in trigger travel of approximately 30 percent.

Trigger reset length is shortened and the trigger pull weight is reduced by approximately 1 lb. from the factory setting, providing the shooter with an ideal duty, carry pull weight in the 5.0 to 5.5 lbs. range.

The kits function in the 9mm and .40S&W caliber versions of the new M&P M2.0, but are also compatible with the original M&P 45 model.

The trigger kits include the following:

  • Aluminum or Polymer Action Enhancement Trigger
  • Heavy Duty 1/8” Sear Spring
  • Fully Machined Sear (2 Dot)
  • Duty Carry Trigger Return Spring
  • Ultimate Striker Block Kit (Striker Block, Spring and Talon Tactical Tool)
  • Slave Pin (assists with installation of trigger return spring)
