MacArthur First NJ Congressman to Cosponsor National Concealed Carry Reciprocity

New Jersey-(Ammoland.com)- Representative Thomas MacArthur of NJ’s Third Congressional District has become the first member of Congress from New Jersey’s congressional delegation to cosponsor The National Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act.

Rep. MacArthur’s office contacted NJ2AS on Friday to inform us of this and thank us for providing information and resources regarding HR38.

We would like to thank Rep. MacArthur and his staff for working with NJ2AS on the bill. HR38 will provide benefits to the State of New Jersey and members of NJ2AS, and to finally have a Representative from NJ to put their name on the bill means a tremendous amount.

Good for him . NJ Residents that have obtained Non -Resident permits as I do need to be included in the National Reciprocity Permits . One can surely conceive by just looking at NJs Demorat gun Laws that “New Jersey will fight this to the very bitter end . Rep. Hudsons Legislation includes Non Resident permits . but dont believe Rep. Cornyns Bill does not . Reader from Tuff States LIKE N.J. Should contact both these Lawmakers for thanks , and input

He will be facing an uphill battle here in NJ. Fortunately I do not have a problem getting a permit to purchase but it takes at least six weeks to get,purchasing ammunition is another chore in itself as you may be limited too how much you can purchase and it is recorded with two forms of ID namely a DL and NJ firearms card. To circumvent this you can travel 45 minutes to Delaware enter a Cabela’s with a shopping cart and actually touch the boxes of ammo and speak to a friendly store rep about choices.
