title="AmmoLand Reports" href="http://www.ammoland.com/" target="_self">Ammoland.com)- A lifetime of accolades paves the way for Barrett’s thirtieth year in 2012.

Currently, seventy-three allied governments have accepted Barrett Products, however, Barrett is best known for their flagship rifle, the Model 82A1 (.50 caliber) which was adopted by the U.S. Army as the M107.

To celebrate their 30th year Barrett has crafted a one-of-a-kind rifle patterned after their new M107A1 .50 caliber. The rifle glows deep silver from its completely nickel teflon coating. Barrett will announce their special plans for this tribute rifle later this year.

The humble beginnings of Barrett are just as unique as their products. Ronnie Barrett, a twenty-seven-year-old making his living as a professional photographer, was inspired to make his own shoulder-fired .50 caliber rifle while photographing a gunboat for a client. With no engineering education, Ronnie Barrett hand-drew, what he believed would one day be a working firearm.

Being a longtime gun enthusiast and having a general understanding of how firearms worked was just enough to get things started. With help from a couple of friends with machining experience, this dream may have never left Ronnie’s gravel-floor garage.

In the past thirty years, Barrett has branched out and become known for not only firearms but also ammunition, optic accessories and training. Currently, U.S. and international commercial markets, Law Enforcement agencies and over 73 friendly governments have accepted Barrett products.

Barrett is still privately held by Ronnie and has been joined by his son, Chris, and daughter, Angela, who also play key roles in making sure the Barrett legend continues to grow.

Ammoland.com)- ArmaLite, Inc. proudly celebrates the 10th anniversary of its legendary AR-50A1 with a special offering. We have made just FIFTY 50’s in a one-of-a-kind color and as part of a special package.

The anniversary rifle includes a custom powder coating color process in silver-black crackle finish. The anniversary dates are laser etched on the upper receiver.

Each Anniversary AR-50 is part of a special package including an ArmaLite 30mm scope mount; Armalite 15, 30, and 50 minute scope rails; a bipod, a monopod; 100 rounds of spent GI brass; and a certificate of authenticity. See your ArmaLite dealer for details.

The anniversary AR-50 isn’t just a pretty rifle… it’s one of the finest high-powered rifles in the world. The heart of the AR-50A1 is its metallic stock to action interface. The patented V-block stock and bedding wedge assure absolute strength and repeatability for superb accuracy. The aluminum stock reinforces the receiver almost like a bench-rest sleeve.

Accuracy? It’s not just in the bedding. Independent testing has proven the AR-50A1 muzzle brake to be the best in the industry for both recoil control and accuracy. It scrapes away turbulent muzzle gasses and lets the bullet break into clean air for amazing accuracy.

Strength, accuracy, and stability make the AR-50A1 stunningly durable and accurate for decades of hard use. You’ll be proud to hand it down to the next generation.

ArmaLite Inc

Geneseo, IL – (Ammoland.com) ArmaLite, Inc. is pleased to CONTINUE with our everyday low price for our spectacular AR-50A1™ rifle. For the foreseeable future, with no plans for a change, you can buy an AR-50A1 for $3,359.

Don’t worry about supplies lasting, we’re so confident of these masters of long-distance accuracy that we’re building them by the Truckload!

ArmaLite’s R&D people have put a lot of thought and effort into making the AR-50A1™ rock solid and precise. They know that it’s what’s INSIDE that counts.

The heart of the AR-50A1™ is its metallic stock to action interface. The patented V-Lock™ Bedding Wedge and V-Block Stock assure absolute strength and repeatability for superb accuracy. The aluminum stock reinforces the receiver like a bench-rest sleeve. Accuracy? It’s not just in the bedding. Independent testing has proven the AR-50A1 muzzle brake to be the best in the industry for both recoil control and accuracy. It scrapes away turbulent muzzle gasses and lets the bullet break into clean air for amazing accuracy.

ArmaLite’s extensive accessory line is perfect for customizing the AR-50A1. Shooters can add a 30 minute rail to help fill the void between 15 and 50 MOA if they don’t have full range of elevation in their scope. And by the way, our scope mount is on the receiver, FAR from any barrel whip.

Other options include a new length of pull kit that allows users to add length to the stock in increments.

There are also top quality bipods and monopods from Allied Precision Arms available. The foldable bipods have a solid, low profile with adjustable left and right cant. They’re also available with leg extensions. The monopods are both quick-adjustment and fine tuned adjustment. In fact, if you include BOTH the bipod and monopod, the AR50A1 is still an incredible value at just $3,759… far below the so-called sales prices of other firearms companies.

Whether you need this 50-cal giant for a military mission or a shooting competition, you can’t buy a better long-range rifle. The AR-50A1 truly sets the Armalite Standard of Excellence.

Caliber: .50 BMG

Length: 59.5 Inches

Weight: 33.2 lbs.

Barrel: 30” Chrome Moly, 8 Groove, RH 1:15 inch twist

Receiver: Modified Octagonal Form, Drilled and Slotted for Scope Rail

Muzzle Device: Highly Efficient Muzzle Brake

Stock: 3 Section: Extruded Forend, Machined Grip Frame with Vertical Grip, Forged and Machined Removable

Buttstock, Adjustable Cheek Piece

Bolt: Extended Triple Front Locking Lugs

Extractor: Sako Type

Trigger: Single Stage

Accuracy: 1” MOA

•	Included with Rifle: Owners Manual, 15 Minute Rail, Bi-pod adapter, Owners Manual, and Limited Lifetime Warranty

<div

Constructed out of 100-percent stainless steel and 360-degree circumferentially welded for added strength, the TurboDyne produces less noise than a .22LR. By reducing the concussion associated with firing a .50 BMG, operators are able to shoot comfortably for hours.”

Overall weight and length vary by individual needs and design, but diameter is 2 inches. Standard finishes are matte black and matte stainless steel. The TurboDyne can be fitted to most semi-auto and bolt-action .50-caliber rifles, mounting directly to the current muzzle brake threads without modification to the gun. The suppressor is also available for rifles chambered in .416 caliber.

AWC Systems Technology has provided suppressed weapons systems to the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps, major law enforcement agencies nationwide, the Department of the Interior, the Department of Energy, federal and state correctional facilities and Special Forces units in Central America and the Middle East. AWC Systems Technology now sells to consumers who want to experience the comfort, accuracy and enjoyment of shooting with the advanced technology, quality and durability found in AWC Systems Technology products.

For more information about the TurboDyne 50, visit Tactilite.com

ODESSA, FL –-(AmmoLand.com)- Zel Custom Manufacturing announced, today, the release of its third-generation of Tactilite big-bore, bolt-action uppers for AR-style rifles.

The Tactilite “Gen-3” achieves a significant upgrade in accuracy and durability through engineering and manufacturing improvements, notably machining the upper receiver from a single piece of steel.

Zel Custom Manufacturing also announced that the Tactilite is now available for the popular .338 Lapua cartridge, in addition its the existing lines of .50 BMG and .416 Barrett conversion kits.

“Machining the upper receiver from a solid piece of steel offers several important advantages,” said Michael Brendzel, president of Zel Custom Manufacturing.

“First, it allows us to create an integrated scope rail that will not lose zero.

Second, we are able to precisely align the integrated scope rail with an integrated barrel extension to assure the greatest accuracy.

Third, the solid receiver is stronger and more durable than the cast and/or welded uppers offered by competitors. While our approach is more costly in time and materials, we have taken the opportunity to reengineer our processes and have been able to maintain our well-known value pricing.”

Based on the success of the Tactilite chambered in .50 BMG and .416 Barrett, Zel Custom Manufacturing also announced the introduction of a Tactilite chambered in .338 Lapua. “The .338 Lapua fills a critical void and we believe that Zel Custom provides an excellent value option in this space,” Brendzel stated.

Last week, Zel Custom Manufacturing started shipping Gen-3 Tactilite uppers to major firearms distributors, including RSR Group, to be available to dealers in time for the holidays.

About Zel Custom Manufacturing, LLC
Laserlyte

Cottonwood, Ariz. - -(AmmoLand.com)- The LaserLyte Kryptonyte .50 BMG green laser cartridge bore tool (K-50) helps sight-in .50 caliber rifles quickly and economically. Getting the user on paper the first shot, (3-4 inches from center at 100 yards), the K-50 fits inside the chamber and when the bolt is closed the laser automatically activates. The daylight-visible 532-nanometer laser creates a dot that can be seen up to 100 yards with the naked eye.

Manufactured to the highest degree of .50 BMG match grade tolerances, each unit is checked with LaserLyte’s custom-made gauge. The K-50 is powered by one CR2 battery (commonly used in digital cameras) that provides 1.5 hours of continuous on.

The extreme accuracy of the K-50 coupled with the high visibility of a green laser make this the must-have bore tool for any serious .50 BMG shooter. Whether it is initial sight-in or checking to see if the rifle is still on target, both can be achieved with time and ammo savings.
