New for 2011 are the ATI Talon Tactical Shotgun Stocks with the New Triton Mount System and Scorpion Recoil System.
The Talon Tactical Stocks feature the new ATI Triton Mount System.
This system allows tactical changes for whatever the situation demands, from breaching doors to tactical close quarter responses. The Triton Mount System is CNC Machined from Military Grade 6061 T6 Aluminum. The Mounting System features an angled, self-aligning dovetail locking system for easy, secure installation. The Triton mount System allows the user the ability to switch from a Six Position Collapsible stock, to a Rear Pistol Grip in a matter of seconds. The Triton Mount System also includes interchangeable sling mounts for left and right-handed shooters, and an additional blank spacer for when a sling mount is not in use.
Also featured on the Talon Tactical Stocks is the New Scorpion Recoil System. The Scorpion Recoil System, which includes a new state of the art buttpad and recoil grip, is constructed of a brand new material. This material absorbs the initial shock wave, which is the felt punch of the recoil. The Scorpion Buttpad features a re-designed ergonomic shape to aid in comfort and impact absorption. The Scorpion Recoil Pistol Grip has a recoil pad built directly in the rear of grip providing the highest level of recoil absorption possible. The Scorpion Recoil System increases the shooter’s comfort, while reducing the muzzle lift. Shooting anything from a 3 ½” Magnum Turkey load to a Door Breaching Load can now be done with no pain being transferred to the shooter.
The Scorpion Recoil System also reduces the challenge to reacquire the target by minimizing the muzzle lift, and is not affected by chemicals, load size, or extreme temperatures.
