CLINTWOOD, VA --(Ammoland.com)- Extreme Shock is at it again, we have improved the .223 100 grain ASP (Advanced Subsonic Product).

In the ASP’s inception, Extreme Shock designed the bullet to function the Colt M4 battle rifle at subsonic velocities in full automatic.

However, due to it’s popularity, shooters was using the round in various weapon platforms.  However, there is a quite a difference in the military M4 as opposed to commercially marketed AR-15 series of rifles.  The military M4 chamber is larger than the commercial ARs.

This resulted in the Extreme Shock technicians and ballisticians developing in 2 separate subsonic loads.  Designing subsonic ammunition is a delicate art, there is no one size fits all as with other ammunition.  To achieve subsonic velocity one must change the powder, powder charge and seating depth.   Extreme Shock has the only 100 grain .223 subsonic round that will fully function a military M4 and/or commercial developed AR-15s.  You’ll have to hear it to believe it. No modifications to the weapon.

With noise comparable to a large air gun, the ASP gives the operator total stealth to achieve their objectives.  Get in, get out without being heard!
