class="wp-caption-text">Barnett Outdoors

Tarpon Springs, FL --(Ammoland.com)- The most technically advanced crossbow to hit the market, the Ghost 400 is no doubt the flagship of the Barnett line, perfectly blending performance and comfort leaving nothing for want.

The Ghost 400 Carbonlite leads the industry with raw power, shooting at lightning speeds of 400+ fps. This bow features Barnett’s proprietary New Carbon Riser Technology (CRT) and it is by far the lightest and strongest in its class. Barnett has the only patent-protected, ultralight, super-strong Carbon riser available for Crossbows, and it boasts an incredible 5-to-1 safety factor.

The Ghost 400 provides one of the smoothest shots available thanks to the CNC machined aluminum flight track and the 3.5# Trigger pull. Additionally, the Anti-Dry Fire (ADF) trigger assures the safest experience available and delivers maximum accuracy down range . The Ghost 400 is also equipped with Barnett’s over-molded laminated limbs technology called AVI (Anti-Vibration Isolation). This reduces noise and vibration up to 30%. The Crosswire® strings and cable system come standard on the Barnett Ghost 400 while also submitting to Barnett’s proprietary process called Cable Armor. This process increases the longevity of the the strings and cables significantly.

The Ghost 400 package comes with three 22″ custom carbon arrows by Easton, Barnett’s new Talon crossbow sling, the New Carbon Cross® 3-arrow quiver with Hip attachment, a rope-cocking device and finally a premium paper-sighted illuminated scope.

BJ Wolf, brand manager for Barnett Crossbows, explains, “There was a lot of sweat equity put into bringing the Ghost 400 to market, but it was a labor of love. The entire team did an awesome job and was able to keep focus by remembering one of the main goals we have for every project we work on; give the consumer what they want, NOT what you think they want. The Ghost 400 will exceed your expectations all around. ”

Features at a glance:

Ultralight CRT© (Carbon) Riser<br

The swing arm hinges, adjusts or completely detaches in seconds. The compact design folds flush against the riser when not in use and still fits in most bow cases.

The JackKnife will also be compatible with S4Gear’s WingMan treestand console. Other accessories, such as a tubular mount used for attaching the JackKife to bicycle and ATV/UTV handlebars, as well as crossbow scopes and shooting sticks, will be available by spring 2012.

More information about the JackKnife smartphone bow mount can be found online at www.S4Gear.com.

S4Gear makes outdoor stuff that gets noticed. The Sidekick attaches and detaches to your Bino System in less than a minute, keeping your rangefinder handy to range distance undetected.

The Sidekick works for most compact hand-held rangefinders with a holster pocket size of 3”W x 1.5”D. Designed with Crooked Horn’s own patented quick-release buckle, the rangefinder easily connects to a 1.5” strap allowing it to slide up easily when in use, but with little movement in the field. With a small elastic sleeve covering the buckle it reduces any noise made from objects touching one another.

The RF Hook Up allows you to quickly and silently, glass, range and shoot…all in one streamline movement. If you already own the Crooked Horn Bino System, you can purchase the RF Sidekick separately and directly attach it to your existing system.

Ammoland.com)- G5 Outdoors, the leading manufacturer of premium archery equipment and design is excited to announce the addition of the Head-Loc, a quiver that sets a new standard in quiver technology.

The majority of quivers on the market today add unnecessary noise and vibration to the bow after the shot. The Head-Loc quiver works to virtually eliminate noise and vibration with its unique state-of-the-art mounting system.

The quiver features rubber compression technology that acts as an isolator between the quiver and the bow, which greatly reduces any noise and vibration.

The Head-Loc also has an Exo-Flex hood, which is extremely quiet, lightweight, and also has superior noise and vibration absorbing properties over traditional plastic quivers. The over-all low-profile design allows the quiver to sit close to the bow, improving shot balance, and reducing the chances of catching branches while stalking through the woods.

The hood accepts both fixed and expandable broadheads. The quiver is carefully constructed using a power grip double spreader to hold arrows securely without deployment of mechanical broadheads.

Purchase a Head-Loc quiver and you are eligible to receive free rubberized tree mount brackets for life. You only pay $8 shipping and handling each.

Head-Loc Spec:

Head-loc Rubber compression Quiver bracket.

Fits fixed and Mechanical broadhead

Power-grip, dual gripper.

Exo-flex Hood, quiet and absorbs vibration and reduces noise.

Holds 6 arrows.

Secondary Lever lock down.

Adjustable mount for customizing fit.

Tree mounting bracket included.

About G5 Outdoors
Ammoland.com)- Goat Tuff’s Equalizer Release Aid created quite a stir when it was released to the public in 2011.

And of course it would as it was the first and only release aid that helped archers increase arrow speed without increasing draw weight.

It was designed originally for short draw archers and those archers who, due to age or injury, had to shoot less poundage thereby compromising performance. It works because the archer can increase draw length from 1 to 3”.

Tests showed, on average, archers gained 10 fps for each 1” increase in draw length.

Well the word got out and more an more standard archers wanted the Equalizer because they were also able to increase arrow speed without having to increase poundage.

For 2012 Goat Tuff’s Ric Clark made more improvements to the Equalizer. These are attached and I hope you will share this with your audience. Visit: www.goattuffproducts.com
Tags: Carbon Express

Flushing, Michigan --(Ammoland.com)- Crossbow hunting has been growing by leaps and bounds over the past few years, and I don’t think anyone can deny that the sport is here to stay.

There are more opportunities than ever, and an increasing list of states are providing special seasons or allowing crossbows to be used during traditional archery seasons. Crossbow hunting is here to stay, and after participating in the sport for the last two years, I have to say that I think it is incredibly fun.

I also like the fact that crossbow hunting brings youth into “bowhunting” at an age before they can competently use a vertical bow to harvest animals. It also will extend the hunting lifetime of older hunters who may not be able to draw a vertical bow as they become elderly. I have seen this with my two young sons as well as my father after he had heart surgery.

So enough about the virtues of crossbows in general! I own an original Carbon Express Covert 3.5 crossbow that the company came out with a few years ago. It is a great bow, my kids have racked up a ton of deer and turkeys with it, and my dad and I have also both killed turkeys with it. I couldn’t imagine it getting much better until I learned about the new CX I and 2 crossbows that are CX’s second generation.

How are these crossbows better and why should I pick them over anything else out there I asked, so I went straight to the source to find out, and I talked to Carbon Express COO John Biafore about it.

He began with, “BioSync Technology is the biggest attribute of these new crossbows that set them apart. What that technology is all about is Body-Bow- Bolt. We want the bow to fit the body, and then the bolt to work at maximum efficiency with the bow for a perfect fit all the way around. That way when someone hunts with our crossbow, he doesn’t have to be thinking about the crossbow, bolt or our equipment; he can simply concentrate on the hunt, and that’s how it should be.”

Biafore explained, “Our original Coverts were great, but we wanted them more comfortable. So we took a lot of weight out and improved the balance of the crossbow. Most of this came out of the front end of the crossbow, but it made it much more comfortable. It no longer feels like you are dragging around a log with you to a treestand or blind.”

Carbon Express now has a premium line of crossbow bolts available in their now famous Maxima line. There is a Maxima Hunter and a Kevlar coated maxima Hunter KV. What sets these bolts apart are that they have Dual Spine Weight Forward Technology just like the Maxima line of arrows, and they are properly spined for the CX crossbows. The Dual Spine Weight Forward means that the dynamic and static spine of the bolt has been considered, so this means the front end of the bolt flexes more giving forgiveness, while the back end is stiffer and recovers quicker. This is what makes an arrow or bolt perform to its maximum, and these are the most technologically sound bolts that can be bought. In short, the bolts and the crossbows being matched up will simply perform better.

So we now see what BioSync is all about. The bow is comfortable, and it shoots great. What else is so good about the CX line I asked?

Biafore answered, “We really feel that not only are these great crossbows from a technical and performance standpoint, they are also the best value on the market. The CX 1 crossbow package comes in at $499 and the CS 2 at $599. The difference is the CX 1 is a 330fps bow and the CX 2 is 360 fps. These packages both include the crossbow, a 4×32 illuminated scope, a quiver, rail lube as well as three Maxima Hunter bolts. It is a package that is ready to sight in and take to the field. Also, with these bolts, we haven’t tried to bump our speeds up, our bolts perform at our published fps speeds.”

When speaking on price, John expounded, “Carbon Express is entrenched as a high quality arrow company, but that doesn’t automatically transfer over to the new crossbow market. We know we make a great product, but we also know we have to earn the consumer’s crossbow business, so making a great valued package is what we decided was the best route to begin earning that business. We absolutely want to be best in class both in performance and price.”

My last question was besides being a great shooting crossbow that sells at an incredibly fair price, what other things might a potential buyer want to consider in the CX line?

Biafore said, “The package obviously offers a lot, but also consider that we cut no corners to get to that price. The crossbows are made with anodized aluminum flight rail, proven carbon infused limbs and premium strings and cables. There is an anti-dryfire mechanism that is very important for safety.”

After the fun my family and I have had over the past two years crossbow hunting, even though our Covert 3.5 is still incredibly accurate, I am going to have to consider one of the new CX 2’s. I have two close friends who bought them recently, and they are fantastic all the way around. After talking with Biafore and understanding more about BioSync, I am really leaning toward the upgrade. If you are in the market for a crossbow, you owe it to yourself to check the newest CX’s from Carbon Express.

About Carbon Express
Carbon Express

Flushing, Michigan --(Ammoland.com)- I was 16 years old and brimming with excitement.

Sweaty palms, shaking knees and full of anticipation, I went in to make my purchase. Was I about to buy my first car? No sir.

Even more exciting, I was about to buy my first new bow!

That fateful day at Cabelas I purchased a ready to shoot package from PSE, a basic velcro release, and a dozen Carbon Express Arrows. At the time I didn’t know much about those arrows, but little did I know that nearly 10 years later I would still be shooting the same brand.

Now obviously over that time span the Carbon Express offerings have changed, but the quality and wide selection of choices is still much the same. I believe it is that consistent quality, with numerous options that has kept me with Carbon Express for so long.

Over the years I have shot Carbon Express models such as the Terminators, Mayhems and now the Maximas and with each new arrow I was able to shoot better and evolve as an archer. And as I’ve progressed in my journey as a bowhunter, I have been able to better understand what kind of performance I need in an arrow and what specific brand or model of arrow will fulfill that. That being said, I certainly can see how it can be confusing and even intimidating for someone new to bowhunting or Carbon Express arrows to try and figure out what arrow they should purchase. No matter what brand arrow you choose to shoot, it’s important to look at the specific goals you have in mind for your arrows and choose accordingly.

So with that in mind, I wanted to share a few thoughts on why there are so many options from Carbon Express and if you choose to use CX, how you might be able to determine which one is right for you. In this article I speak to Carbon Express arrows, because that’s what I have experience with. But if you have any questions about another brand and need help determining the right arrow, let me know and I’ll do my best to find a good resource for you!

As I mentioned before, I’ve been able to grow up with Carbon Express arrows over the past decade for one simple reason. They have arrows for every situation, price range and need. As I understand it, it’s CX’s goal to provide the most options for the most demanding of bowhunters, to help them do one thing. Shoot better. Whether you specifically want to get the most penetration possible or have the most accurate arrow you can find, there is a Carbon Express arrow made specifically for that. And these arrows aren’t just thrown together with a label that says “great penetration” or whatever. They are designed and manufactured to the most exact standards, to ensure they do exactly what they’re meant to do. So with that in mind, lets look at several of Carbon Express’s premier lines of arrows and explain just what they are made to do.

Maxima Series Arrows
When it comes to top of the line hunting arrows, few are as well known and renowned as the Maxima series. These are my arrows of choice and for good reason. They’re incredibly fast, yet still strong and forgiving. Within the Maxima line, there are several variations including the Maxima Hunter, KV, Blue Streak and Blue Streak Select. All Maximas have dual spine weight forward technology, which essentially helps with energy transfer and allows your arrow to recover faster, leading to better accuracy. In addition to the dual spine technology you’ve got incredible straightness and weight tolerances that ensure that these arrows are as consistent and finely crafted as possible. Within the Maximas you’ll get the best penetration with the KV, most accuracy with the Blue Streak, tightest straightness specs with the Blue Streak Select and the most speed from a camo arrow with the Maxima Hunter. On the high end here, you’ve definitely got a lot of options, but it’s hard to go wrong with any of these.

Mayhem Series Arrows
As you go down the line you’ll get into the Mayhem series next, which I shot last year with great success. Another line of terrific shooting, well rounded arrows that are designed in fact to be a perfect trifecta of speed, accuracy and penetration. With a technology called K-360 weave, the Mayhems are able to achieve great durability and penetration without sacrificing speed. These are truly a great all around arrow.

Piledriver Series Arrows
If you’re focused strongly on getting the best penetration possible, the Piledriver series is for you. With a heavy grain per inch ratio, these arrows are incredibly durable and pack a lot of kinetic energy! You can plan on getting a lot of pass throughs with these bad boys.

Mach 5 Series Arrows
Rounding out the line-up you’ve got the Mach 5, which is the lightest and fastest of the CX arrows and the Mutiny a high velocity, super consistent arrow. Both offer great benefits that fulfill unique needs.

Choosing a brand or specific model of arrow is certainly an important decision as a bowhunter. For me, it was made by chance early in my life, but luck had it that I made a good call. I’ve been able to progress through the CX lineup throughout my life and have been impressed every step of the way. So while I can’t tell you one way or the other in regards to what arrows you should shoot, I can say with complete certainty that if you decide to shoot Carbon Express, they will have an arrow that can fit your specific needs perfectly.

When it comes to choosing an arrow, look at your price range and needs and then study your options carefully. There are plenty of good options out there, but for me Carbon Express has been the best!

About Carbon Express<br

Complimentary colors add an exciting and edgy look to the new faces while maintaining high visibility.

Says Arrowmat founder Blair Acker. “We were looking for a way to spice things up on one of our original prototype designs, the Camo Bullseye, when the idea first came to mind. Although a popular design from the start, the original target simply used a basic “army-style” camouflage with bright colored rings. By adding the Lost Camo pattern and making the ring sizes conform to a standard 5-Spot target, I think we’ve really done the thing some justice!”

Like the other nine designs offered by Arrowmat, Lost Camo Bullseye and Lost Lady Bullseye are designed to last for hundreds of shots and offer shooters some variety in their practice sessions.

Each Arrowmat is constructed from a heavy duty, foam rubber material and is designed to be used in conjunction with any suitable backstop capable of bringing an arrow to rest. With a 17” by 17” surface face, the Arrowmat is well suited to work with most of the foam block and bag targets currently on the market and can be attached conveniently via the grommets positioned in each corner.

Lost Camo Bullseye and Lost Lady Bullseye are officially licensed products and may be purchased at many authorized Mathews dealers.

Why Shoot Boring? – Shoot Arrowmat!

Dealer Inquiries Welcomed

For more information please contact:

Arrowmat
Ammoland.com)- Crossbow hunting has surged enormously in popularity as an ever-growing number of states have accepted crossbows as a legal and practical means of taking game.

In response, Hurricane Bag Targets has introduced its new Crossbolt Stop to safely and effectively discharge the energy stored in a drawn crossbow after the hunt.

This lightweight, portable 12x12x12 bag target is perfect to set up inconspicuously near a treestand to discharge the crossbow before climbing down. Likewise, it’s an ideal means for still hunters to discharge a bolt before gear stowage in a vehicle.

With its new Tri-Core Technology and its high-contrast, hi-visibility Hurricane Eye aiming point, the Crossbolt Stop is unrivaled for its durability and performance. A heavy-duty handle on top makes carrying the Crossbolt Stop to your favorite treestand easy. With a pair of grommets securely fastened to the target’s top, a hunter can easily attach it to a low hanging tree branch 20 or 30 yards from a stand—well away from the game traffic lanes—in order to safely discharge a crossbow before exiting an elevated stand after the hunt has ended.

Safety, being paramount in any hunting expedition, dictates that a hunter should not climb any object with a loaded weapon in tow, and crossbow hunting is no exception, especially considering the enormous amount of energy stored in your crossbow’s limbs. Bringing Hurricane’s new Crossbolt Stop into the field will help you discharge that energy in a safe and controlled manner.

With a suggested retail price $29.99, a crossbow hunter can’t afford to hunt without the Crossbolt Stop.

Headquartered in Superior, WI, Field Logic is the manufacturer of the award-winning BLOCK Archery Targets including the BLOCK BLACK, BLOCK BLACK Crossbow, and BLOCK Classic. It also manufactures GlenDel 3D Targets, Hurricane Bag Targets, Shooter Buck 3D Archery Targets, Black Hole Targets and the IQ Bowsight.

For additional information, visit the company websites at www.fieldlogic.com or Carbon Express

Flushing, Michigan --(Ammoland.com)- I recently sat down and had a long conversation with carbon Express vice-president, Lennie Rezmer, that simply changed the way I look at archery.

I asked Lennie a basic question, “How do I pick the proper arrow?”, and I came away with a much deeper understanding of archery performance and equipment.

First off, I asked Lennie what he felt the three most common mistakes are that people make when choosing arrows because I am used to learning from mistakes! He gave me the below list to consider, and then he told me how to properly choose.

People spend a lot of money on a high performance bow, and then they go buy cheap low performance arrows to save money. The arrows will never allow that expensive bow to perform near its capability.

Commonly people choose their arrows without considering dynamic spine. They just go to a static spine chart and pick a shaft.

Many people choose an arrow that is simply too light because all they care about is speed. These arrows can be unforgiving, and if you don’t have absolutely perfect form, you likely won’t shoot well with them.

So Rezmer told us what not to do, but what should we do to make the right choice?
To even begin this process, Lennie said that we must understand static spine and dynamic spine. Static spine is how much deflection at a 28” span a shaft has with a weight of just over a pound hanging from the middle. In other words, how much bend? Dynamic spine is how much that shaft bends, or reacts, at the actual thrust from the string when the arrow is released. In essence, this is how quickly the arrow recovers or how forgiving it is.

So now that we understand the two types of spines, how do we use them? Most folks just look at their arrow length, bow poundage and come up with a static spine number and use that to pick an arrow. Lennie showed me Carbon Express’ Adjustable Weight Chart. This chart takes in all the aspects of your exact setup, considers in what dynamic spine of an arrow will do specifically, and then adjusts your poundage number so you can go to an arrow selection chart and be more accurate.

The Adjustable Weight Chart starts with your bow’s poundage, then adds or subtracts pounds for specific parts of your setup and gives you a final adjusted number. For instance, you will gain 8 pounds if your draw weight is 60lbs or higher and you have high-energy cams, but you will lose 5 lbs if your bow has 65-80% let-off. There are a number of features to be considered, then you do a calculation at the bottom of the chart and get your final number.

You can take that number to the Carbon Express Arrow Selection Guide and easily pick the properly spined arrow for your setup.

So after you have done this, there are still many different options of shafts with the various spines. I asked Lennie about this as well.

“ First, I am a big proponent of Dual Weight Forward Spine. That means that the front end of the arrow flexes more for forgiveness while the back end doesn’t flex much, resulting in faster recovery time. This really helps accuracy, especially with broadheads.”

Rezmer went on to explain, “When choosing a specific shaft, you have to decide what you are doing with that arrow. Are you target shooting and only worried about the fastest and flattest arrow flight you can get? Are you hunting big game like elk and moose? Are you mainly a whitetail and turkey hunter? All these things will determine which type arrow is best for you, and of course you must consider the price.”

Lennie gave me a couple examples of different situations and arrows that fit the bill for each. First let’s look at an adult male that wants to hunt elk. He will need a lot of kinetic energy for a big animal and proper penetration. Lennie said in this situation, the shooter needs a heavy arrow of at least 9-9.5 grains per inch to perform properly. So after finding the proper spine, he can pick a shaft type that fits. In this case it might be a Maxima Hunter KV 350 at 9.8.

If this same archer were only going to shoot whitetails and turkeys, such high kinetic energy isn’t quite as necessary, so he might want to consider lighter poundage and a shaft like the Maxima Blue Streak Select 250 that weighs in at 7.4 GPI. This will still get all the penetration needed for such animals.

Rezmer recommended for youth or lady shooters that are pulling 30-50 pounds and shooting arrows under 28” in length, they should shoot a fairly heavy arrow. He said that since they are not shooting high poundage, weight is needed for proper penetration, but also the arrow should still be light enough to fly. He recommends a shaft in the 8GPI range for these hunters.

He ended by telling me that if you are going to error, you should likely error on the side of being a bit heavy. This is especially true of novice shooters because with lighter arrows comes more speed, and speed is definitely less forgiving as far as accuracy goes. If you have any flaw in your shooting form and you are shooting a light arrow at smoking speeds, that flaw will show in the form of poor accuracy. Speed can kill both ways.

So as you can see, there is much more to choosing the proper arrow for you and your purposes than simply matching a couple of numbers on a simple chart. One thing is for sure, if you will take the time and effort to pick the right arrow, your shooting, and in hunting situations, your harvests, will definitely improve. The Carbon Express Adjustable Weight Chart makes this whole complicated process very fast and easy, and I know it has really helped me understand arrows and how to use them to my greatest advantage.

About Carbon Express
Ammoland.com)- NuFletch has joined forces with Lumenok on an exciting new way to “light it up” by adding lighted nocks to the NuFletch product line.

The OEM nocks from Lumenok, designed especially for NuFletch, eliminate the hassles of finding nocks that fit the inner diameter of your arrow because the nock cap used on the NuFletch Spectrum Standard products are all the exact same size.

If you can fit one, you can fit them all.

This sizing ensures that the lighted nock will do its job each time you shoot the product. No more worrying about the correct fit. The CNC machined caps are all within a tolerance that makes the nocks work correctly.

NuFletch Lumenok Lighted Nock

The nock cap also serves another important purpose. It is designed to house two small coin cell batteries in the perfect position. A normal fletched arrow is hollow, and the round coin cell batteries would fall straight through. The nock cap provides the perfect solution to this problem.

If your batteries become weak, simply remove the nock from the cap and pop them out. Replace the cells with two new coin cells and you are good to go. Replacement batteries can be found at your local Wal-Mart or online at nufletch.com for a substantial discount.

NuFletch’s lighted nock is extremely bright and its simplicity ensures that it will give excellent performance in the field.

Light up the trail to your local dealer and ask about the NuFletch lighted nock or visit us at nufletch.com for more information!

For more information visit them online at <a

As production finally catches up, a matte-black version is now being introduced.

The sophisticated technology of the Retina Lock provides instant feedback at a glance that will identify even the slightest torque or change in anchor point. Its four-axis adjustment ensures a perfect alignment with almost any bow on the market.

Without a doubt, it is the most sought-after bowsight in the bowhunting industry. In fact, many TV personalities have switched to the IQ Bowsight already, including Babe Winkelman, Chris Brackett, Mark and Terry Drury, Casey and Chris Keefer, Keith Beam, Jay and Tammy Gregory, Jim Shockey, Bob Richardson, Larry Woodward, Brad Rucks, Dan Schmidt, Pat Reeve, Nicole Jones, Tim Wells, Ryan Klesko, J.T. Harden, and Tom Miranda.

The new black IQ Bowsight is available in four- and seven-pin configurations in both left- and right-hand versions. It is available at retailers with suggested retail prices of $199.99 and $219.99 for the four- and seven-pin configurations, respectively.

For detailed information on the IQ Bowsight and to view the detailed video and impressive commercials, visit the website at Ammoland.com)- Is your Dad a Mathews Archery fan? Is getting your Dad a Father’s Day gift difficult for you because he already has everything?

Below are a few new items that are officially licensed products of Mathews Archery and/or Lost Camo, the official camouflage of Mathews Archery.

Get your Dad a perfect gift for Father’s Day that he will never forget. Get him a licensed Mathews product.

Are you looking for a great bow sight for Father’s Day? Consider the unique Shaffer Performance Archery Opposition 4 or 6 pin sight. Most sights have the pins on one side of the sight housing. The result is a limited field of view. The Opposition sight has 3 pins on each side of the housing, resulting in a better field of view. The sight can be purchased with a light for low light hunting conditions. It is available in Mathews Archery Lost Camo or black and comes with a pivot lock mount which allows the sight to be removed from the bow in seconds when transporting the bow and put in back on quickly without adjusting the pins each time. Find out more at www.schafferarchery.com

If you are looking for a unique Father’s day gift for the Mathews fan in your life, you’ll be pleased with the Mathews Archery Lost Camo Leather belt or tri-fold wallet. Does your Dad wear a belt when shooting in archery tournaments? The Mathews leather belt will let everyone know he is a Mathews fan, thanks to the large Mathews belt buckle. The Mathews leather products can be purchased from a local Mathews retailer or directly from American Leather Classics. Find out more at www.americanleatherclassics.com

Norway Industries has teamed up with Mathews Archery to offer a Fusion Mathews vane that displays the Mathews logo on every vane. Put the Fusion Vane on an arrow and see how tight the arrows group. Find out more at www.norwayindustries.com

Hot Shot Manufacturing has an innovative new release called the Infinity. On the outside, it may look like another release but the internal workings are completely different. The Infinity features a “Lever-Link” trigger that replaces traditional roller bearings, creating a crisp shot and less trigger creep, resulting in tighter arrow groups. The extra tough actuating mechanism features less friction than roller bearings so the release will work flawlessly for years without getting stiff or difficult to pull from harsh weather or dirt from hours in the woods. My favorite feature is the fact that the release was made with a unique alloy that is essentially “self-lubricating.” The Infinity is available with a black wrist strap or in Mathews Lost Camo. Find out more at www.hotshotmanufacturing.com

The Doinker Mini Dish hunter looks like a stabilizer with a large dish or plate on the front of it. The 3-hole hub on the front of the stabilizer reduces noise and vibration and can be placed on the opposing side of the sight, quiver and rest, balancing the bow out for a more accurate shot. Customize the stabilizer by adding small weights to the Dish to eliminate vibration. The Mini Dish is available in Mathews Lost Camo. Find out more at www.doinker.com

Master Target is offering a Mathews face target. Master Targets are made of paper thin plastic that are waterproof and ultraviolet (UV) resistant. Each face target comes with a photo of an animal on it and reveals the vitals of that animal. Each Master Target face can be taped, stapled or pinned to a block style target and can withstand over 400 shots from a field point tipped arrow. Find out more at Schaffer Performance Archery

Burnsville, MN --(Ammoland.com)- Schaffer Performance Archery is proud to introduce the Opposition Arrow Rest – a unique arrow rest that eliminates many of the problems associated with traditional full-containment drop-away arrow rests.

As bow speeds increase, arrows are leaving the string faster than the launcher arm on the arrow rest can get out of the way, resulting in the arrow coming into contact with the rest which reduces accuracy.

The Opposition Arrow Rest solves this problem with Dual Jaw Technology. The rest has two jaws: one jaw squeezes the arrow from the left, one jaw squeezes the arrow from the right. When the bow is fired, each jaw glides out of the way, allowing the arrow to pass between the jaws without touching the rest. The jaws can’t bounce back so arrow and vane contact is a thing of the past. In fact, the Opposition rest can handle arrow speeds in excess of 418 FPS!

The rest is whisper quiet, easy to paper tune and because the jaws pinch the arrow into the center of the rest, every time the bow is drawn, the arrow is locked into place. So regardless if a hunter is stalking a mule deer or shaking like a leaf aiming at the whitetail buck of a lifetime, the arrow will not shake, wobble or vibrate. It is locked into position.

The jaws on the Opposition rest are made of bomb-proof Delrin which can handle anything Mother Nature can throw at it. Other key features include custom fit riser lock side plates that fit snugly onto the riser of the bow, making the rest and riser one and eliminating the chance of the rest coming loose or vibrating during the shot.

The Opposition rest has an easy push button that allows the archer to lock the arrow in place before they draw if they choose. If the button is not pushed ahead of time, the jaws quickly squeeze the arrow upon drawing the bow.

The Opposition Arrow Rest rounds out a complete line of innovative products from Schaffer Performance Archery including the Opposition bow sight.

The Opposition Rest: It’s like putting your arrow in a vice! No wiggling, no jiggling; just super smooth performance, shot after shot.

For more information about Schaffer Performance Archery Products visit <a
