Tarpon Springs, FL --(Ammoland.com)-  The most technically advanced crossbow to hit the market, the Ghost 400 is no doubt the flagship of the Barnett line, perfectly blending performance and comfort leaving nothing for want.

The Ghost 400 Carbonlite leads the industry with raw power, shooting at lightning speeds of 400+ fps. This bow features Barnett’s proprietary New Carbon Riser Technology (CRT) and it is by far the lightest and strongest in its class. Barnett has the only patent-protected, ultralight, super-strong Carbon riser available for Crossbows, and it boasts an incredible 5-to-1 safety factor.

The Ghost 400 provides one of the smoothest shots available thanks to the CNC machined aluminum flight track and the 3.5# Trigger pull. Additionally, the Anti-Dry Fire (ADF) trigger assures the safest experience available and delivers maximum accuracy down range . The Ghost 400 is also equipped with Barnett’s over-molded laminated limbs technology called AVI (Anti-Vibration Isolation). This reduces noise and vibration up to 30%. The Crosswire® strings and cable system come standard on the Barnett Ghost 400 while also submitting to Barnett’s proprietary process called Cable Armor. This process increases the longevity of the the strings and cables significantly.

The Ghost 400 package comes with three 22″ custom carbon arrows by Easton, Barnett’s new Talon crossbow sling, the New Carbon Cross® 3-arrow quiver with Hip attachment, a rope-cocking device and finally a premium paper-sighted illuminated scope.

BJ Wolf, brand manager for Barnett Crossbows, explains, “There was a lot of sweat equity put into bringing the Ghost 400 to market, but it was a labor of love. The entire team did an awesome job and was able to keep focus by remembering one of the main goals we have for every project we work on; give the consumer what they want, NOT what you think they want. The Ghost 400 will exceed your expectations all around. ”

Eugene, OR --(Ammoland.com)- Thanks to the new patent-pending JackKnife smartphone bow mount from S4Gear, hunters will no longer have to wait to get home to see their latest adventure.

With the ability to view and share their footage filmed right from their bow, its social media live in the woods!

Mounted off of the sight mount, the JackKnife allows hunters to use their phone to film their hunts from the “hunter’s eyes”. Footage can then be used to view shot placement before tracking an animal, as a training device to review shot form and even used to incorporate split screens into final video pieces on web, TV and DVD.

“With Smartphone video capabilities that seem to be getting better by the minute, we figured there had to be a way for hunters to utilize their phones they were already taking into the woods,” stated Jerid Strasheim, VP of sales & marketing for S4Gear.

“There’s a lot of products on the market that can capture the hunt, but none of them allow you the ability to view and share the footage instantly.”

Designed to be universal and highly adjustable, the JackKnife’s cradle fits virtually any smartphone and can be installed on any bow with an AMO standard sight mount—right or left handed, with sight and quiver installed. The JackKnife’s cradle utilizes a protective foam lining to hold smartphones securely in place while simultaneously guarding against shock and vibration.

Installation is easy with nothing more to it than attaching the mounting bracket to a bow’s sight mount and adjusting three knobs for preferred phone placement. The swing arm hinges, adjusts or completely detaches in seconds. The compact design folds flush against the riser when not in use and still fits in most bow cases.

The JackKnife will also be compatible with S4Gear’s WingMan treestand console. Other accessories, such as a tubular mount used for attaching the JackKife to bicycle and ATV/UTV handlebars, as well as crossbow scopes and shooting sticks, will be available by spring 2012.

More information about the JackKnife smartphone bow mount can be found online at www.S4Gear.com.
