ANOKA, Minn. --(Ammoland.com)- The Minnesota Game Fair brings hunters, archers, shooters and sportsmen and women together for demonstrations, exhibits and a popular shooting contest.

Game Fair sponsors include Federal Premium Ammunition, Cabela’s, and Outdoor News. Visitors can shoot Federal Top Gun Pink Hull shotshell loads while supporting the fight against breast cancer.

Shooters who hit a clay target will be entered into a sweepstakes to win a two-day South Dakota pheasant hunt with legendary Minnesota outdoorsman and TV personality Ron Schara. Shooters can also win some Black Cloud and Prairie Storm™ ammunition and Champion pink shooting gear. Tom Knapp and local politicians and professional athletes are expected to be on hand. All proceeds from the shooting contest will go towards the fight against breast cancer.

Federal Premium Ammunition will sponsor the Minnesota Game Fair and a unique shotgun shooting contest to support breast cancer research and awareness. The Game Fair runs August 12-14 and 19-21 in Anoka, MN—minutes from the Federal Premium headquarters. Visitors can participate in the shooting contest by simply paying admission into the Game Fair. A donation of any amount to support breast cancer gives attendees an additional chance to shoot Federal’s pink shotshells at the range. Shooters who hit their target will be automatically entered to win a South Dakota pheasant hunt with “Minnesota Bound” host Ron Schara. Many other prizes will be given away daily. All contest proceeds go to the search for a cure and breast cancer research.

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn --(Ammoland.com)-ATK (NYSE: ATK) announced today that effective August 8, Tom Sexton, will become the company’s interim Chief Financial Officer.

Mr. Sexton, ATK’s current Vice President and Controller, is a 25-year veteran of the company and has an extensive background in all aspects of both corporate and operational finance.

Mr. Sexton succeeds John Shroyer who will be leaving ATK after it reports FY12 first quarter earnings on August 4. He has accepted the Chief Financial Officer position with Capsugel, a New Jersey-based company.

ATK will retain an executive search firm to review both internal and external candidates for the permanent Chief Financial Officer position. “In the interim, we are extremely fortunate to have the depth of management experience and financial acumen Tom brings to the job. His experience will help ensure a smooth transition until a permanent CFO is named,” said Mark DeYoung, President and CEO.

Regarding Mr. Shroyer’s departure, DeYoung stated “John has contributed significantly to the company’s success throughout his career. He has led several strategic initiatives, and built a strong financial organization with significant bench strength. On behalf of the Board of Directors and ATK’s executive management team, I want to personally thank John for his many contributions and wish him continued success in his new career.”
