The LG-417 improves upon the Crimson Trace G-Series design by including a master on/off switch and a wrap-around style that maintains the stock Glock grip angle. The Lasergrips encircle the polymer grip of the Glock and are anchored in place by a locking piece that covers the beavertail. It is instinctively activated by a pressure switch built into the front strap of the polymer Lasergrips. Simply grasping the firearm in a normal shooting grip activates the laser. All electrical components fit into the Lasergrip, which is small in size and is ergonomically designed for comfort. This new model fits all right-handed Safariland ® holsters as well as all Blackhawk® holsters. Aggressive texture provides a positive grip.

Two #2032 batteries are located in the palm swell on each side of the Lasergrips, providing over 4 hours of constant-on beam time. The master on/off switch is located on the left-hand side and uses new, pressure-sensitive microprocessor switch technology versus a mechanical switch found on most other Lasergrips. Users simply press the recessed pressure switch to turn the unit on or off. Rubber overmolding covers both the activation button on the front strap and the master on/off switch, providing improved grip while shooting.

Another new feature of the LG-417 is that it uses a smaller ultra-compact 3.3mm diameter laser diode. This dramatically reduces the overall size of the laser diode housing. All Lasergrips and Laserguards have both windage and elevation adjustments for shooters to make adjustments on their own. All Lasergrips and Laserguards come with an accessory pack that contains batteries, hex wrenches for laser adjustments, a cleaning cloth and several cleaning swabs.
