Cortland, NY --(AmmoLand.com)- Redding Reloading Equipment has responded to the requirements of Indiana Deer Hunters with the addition of the 358/25 WSSM to their line of regular production “Custom Series” reloading dies.
The new die sets are available as full length sizing , neck size and a three die deluxe set including both full length and neck sizing dies plus a seating die with crimp.

This wildcat cartridge has gained great favor as an alternative to standard handgun calibers under Indiana’s Regulation, allowing the use of cartridges with a bullet diameter of .357 or larger and a maximum case length of 1.625” to be used in rifles during their firearms deer season. It has the ability to be used in both bolt action and modern sporting rifle styles and produces sound terminal ballistics on whitetail deer.

Innovation on the part of the firearms owner has produced many great new cartridges which have over time become standards of our trade. Redding remains committed to supporting such innovation with a true “Custom” die operation, allowing individuals to work at improving their capabilities through wildcatting.

The Engineering Group at Redding requires only a chamber reamer drawing or 5 fired cases from the firearm in question to quote the production of dies for virtually any caliber and firearm which can be made with a 7/8 x 14 TPI die body. Prices are quoted on an individual basis depending upon the complexity of the chambering and any need for tooling.

East Alton, IL – -(AmmoLand.com)- Considered one of the most innovative products in Winchester Ammunition history, the Supreme Elite Dual Bond bullet line is expanding in 2010, adding .44 Rem-Mag and .45-70 Gov’t to the big-bore hunting lineup.

The .44 Rem-Mag features a 240-grain bullet and the .45-70 Gov’t features a 375-grain bullet. The ‘bullet within a bullet’ design delivers dramatic stopping power and massive tissue damage and is suitable for whitetail deer to large dangerous game, such as bear.

“The Dual Bond bullet is technologically unsurpassed by any bullet commercially available today,” said Brett Flaugher, vice president of domestic and international marketing and sales for Winchester Ammunition. “Anyone who shoots this bullet will experience the best Winchester has to offer in our slug and big-bore hunting lineup.”

The outer jacket is designed for maximum upset and to open up into six segments. The inner jacket works with the bonded lead core and forms another six segments at a controlled rate resulting in a an expansion with 12 segments and is 1.5 times larger than the original bullet diameter.

The heavy outer jacket is mechanically bonded to the inner bullet. The inner bullet utilizes a proprietary bonding process, which welds the lead core to a second jacket that results in a design that provides for a combination of knockdown power, deep penetration and significant tissue damage while retaining nearly 100% of the original weight. The Supreme Elite® Dual Bond® has a large hollow point cavity, which provides positive expansion at a variety of ranges and impact velocities. Combined, this patent pending technology results in lethal energy transfer on impact.
