title="AmmoLand Reports" href="http://www.ammoland.com/" target="_self">Ammoland.com)- The SIG SAUER Adaptive Carbine Platform (ACP) allows any handgun with an accessory rail to be quickly modified into a personal defense weapon or carbine style firearm.

Regardless of the brand, most pistols equipped with an accessory rail can be mounted to the ACP without the need for modification to the base gun.

Fabricated from solid aircraft-grade aluminum, the ACP sports M1913 rails at the 3, 6 and 9 o’clock positions with a full-length top rail at the 12 o’clock position. Compatible accessories such as lights, red dot sights and lasers can be mounted for additional functionality.

“The ACP brings Personal Defense Weapon (PDW) features to almost any handgun,” said Bud Fini, SIG SAUER Vice President of Marketing.

“For law enforcement or executive protection details looking for the quick deployment of a carbine or SMG, but with the controllability of a handgun, the ACP offers everything in one package.”

An integral hand stop permits the user to get a forward grip without the danger of covering the muzzle. The integral quick-detachable sling mounts allow an ACP-equipped pistol to be carried on a sling for fast access.

The new SIG SAUER ACP allows the shooter access to the pistol’s frame mounted controls, providing an easy training transition and familiar manual of arms. The ACP is also compatible with most sound suppressors.

The ACP is available in three models:

ACP – This basic model allows for fast, easy conversion and works with most railed pistols.

ACP-Enhanced – The Enhanced version includes the new SIG SAUER MIL-GRADE Mini Red Dot Sight, a quick detachable sling swivel and a Single Point Bungee Sling.

ACP-LE – This National Firearms Act-regulated military/law enforcement model features a top- folding shoulder stock. Civilian purchasers must comply with the requirements for registering a short-barreled rifle.

For more on SIG SAUER, please visit www.sigsauer.com or find us on Facebook at www.facebook.com/SigSauerInc

About SIG SAUER, Inc.
Ammoland.com)- SIG SAUER, Inc., the leading manufacturer of commercial, law enforcement and military firearms, introduces an improved version of the current 5.56x45mm military issue centerfire tactical carbine, the SIG M400.

The SIG M400 has been introduced for consumers who prefer the direct impingement gas system and have an inventory of parts and accessories for the original M4-style carbine.

Built with SIG SAUER quality and reliability, the SIG M400 is also an exceptional value for those seeking an AR-platform rifle.

To increase accuracy over mil-spec carbines, the SIG M400 features a tensioning device designed into the lower receiver that ensures a tight lockup and eliminates accuracy-robbing play between the upper and lower receivers. The lower receiver has all the same features as the SIG 516™ such as an ambidextrous magazine release and rear quick-detach sling mount. Both receivers are machined from 7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum forgings and coated with a durable phosphate finish.

The upper receiver features an integrated MIL-STD 1913 accessory top rail for mounting optics and accepts most M16/AR15-style furniture. A six-position collapsible polymer stock offers adjustability to fit all shooters. An Enhanced version of the SIG M400 features all Magpul furniture.

Chambered in 5.56 NATO, the SIG M400 will be available in semi-automatic for commercial users. Three-round burst or fully automatic versions will be made available for military and law enforcement. Built to full military specifications, the SIG M400™ features a 16? chrome moly steel barrel with a chrome-lined chamber and bore. A direct-gas impingement system operates a seven-lug, rotating bolt. The muzzle is threaded ½ x 28 TPI to accept a variety of flash hiders, compensators or suppressor mounts. An M16A2 flash compensator is included.

A removable sight assembly and carry handle, 30-round magazine and hard case are standard features on this rifle.

Become a fan of SIG SAUER on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/SigSauerInc.

Mako Defense

Farmingdale, New York --(Ammoland.com)- With the release of its DVD titled ISRAELI SPECIAL FORCES TRAINING: COUNTER TERROR CARBINE, Mako Defense now offers video training information that enables anyone to understand and apply the unique advantages of the Israeli Method of fighting with a tactical carbine.

This DVD parallels the live Mako Defense courses currently being offered across America. It gives viewers the opportunity to learn and practice techniques that can save their lives and the lives of innocent victims.

The Israeli Method of fighting revolves around the concept of using speed and accuracy to quickly neutralize any threat, while protecting bystanders. As presented by Mako Defense, it is designed to give US law enforcement officers the most effective methods for working alone, with a partner, or in a team; to give military combatants the skills required for a successful mission; and enable civilians to become highly competent in every aspect of using their tactical rifles for home defense as well as shooting sports.

Mako Defense Training — live and on DVD – is fast-paced, exciting and readily understood by everyone. Even in live classes where law enforcement officers, military personnel and civilians often train together, each person is able to learn at their own pace and within their different physical capabilities. DVD training can be repeated and reviewed endlessly at no additional cost, to perfect the Israeli Method techniques shown. Each technique is presented, demonstrated, and then broken down, while being filmed from multiple angles, before being demonstrated at speed in live fire drills. Viewers can experience dry-fire practice of the methods taught in the DVD course.

“We are pleased to make this excellent fighting and self-defense method available to more people in the United States,” said Addy Sandler, CEO of Mako Defense, from a range in New York where live training was in progress.

“Our live-fire courses fill up fast, and we often have law enforcement and military personnel attending on their own time, along with a great many civilians who are passionate about shooting and understand the need to develop expert home defense techniques. While not a substitute for live interaction with our Israeli instructors, our DVD courses will enable everyone to understand how to utilize the Israeli Method of fighting to make themselves and their loved ones safer.”

Mako Defense instructors are experienced warriors who have seen extensive action as members of Israel’s most elite special operations units. They are certified as instructors by the Israeli government and teach the Israeli Method on a daily basis in Israel and around the world. The lead instructor featured in these videos has responded to many hostage situations in Israel from 1995 to the making of the video. Instructors were also members of the leading Israeli Police counter-terror and hostage rescue team. They have completed years of service in both a military unit that is the equivalent of the US Delta Force, and in an undercover unit that specializes in the abduction or elimination of high-level terrorists.

Mako Defense DVDs can be purchased from your favorite local gun shop or gun dealers everywhere. title="AmmoLand Reports" href="http://www.ammoland.com/" target="_self">Ammoland.com)- Continuing its line expansion of a new and truly innovative modern automatic rifle in the M16/M4 tradition known as the B.E.A.R. (Brown Enhanced Automatic Rifle), Adcor Defense announces its B.E.A.R. Elite series.

The original B.E.A.R. (Brown Enhanced Automatic Rifle) — designed by and named for Michael J. Brown, executive vice president of operations at Adcor Defense – has a revolutionary and patented free floating gas piston system (Patent #065111.00128) attached to the rail to allow for a free floating barrel; a key locked, highly rigid rail system; an ambidextrous, forward placed charging handle; and a polymer dust shield that protects the port from debris, dust, or sand. All components are made in the U.S.A.

The B.E.A.R. Elite offers several key enhancements to the original B.E.A.R.. It features:

FN Manufacturing 1:7 twist, hammer-forged, hard chrome-lined barrel with M249 rifling profile for long life and exceptional accuracy

Magpul MOE rifle stock (MIL SPEC)

Magpul MOE ergonomic rifle grip with aggressive texturing

Available in 10.5”, 12.5”, 14.5”, 16.1” and 18” barrel lengths

Both the B.E.A.R. and B.E.A.R. Elite are available in several barrel lengths, optics ready or with sights, and in fully automatic for the law enforcement community.

Tested by H.P. White Laboratory, a known leader in small arms and ammunition research and testing, the B.E.A.R. was found to have no failures or stoppages in a 6000 round endurance test and delivered a high degree of accuracy using Federal Match (69-grain) ammunition in the dispersion testing (.88” at 100 yards). Additionally, no malfunctions occurred during adverse environment testing, including immersion in water and sand.

“The design of the B.E.A.R. represents the greatest technological leap forward in the M16/M4 system since the U.S. Marine Corps mandated changes which resulted in the development of the M16A2 rifle,” said executive vice president of sales and marketing, Rick DeMilt.

“The enhancements we’ve made with the introduction of the B.E.A.R. Elite make this a formidable rifle line with great potential. It is a virtually indestructible rifle that functions perfectly in harsh environments and meets the requirements of the most demanding operator.”

Big Horn Armory

Cody, WY --(Ammoland.com)- Obadiah was a field mouse living on his land out in the country in Wyoming.

Because of his hard work, he was a successful farmer and business mouse.

However, Obadiah was completely surrounded by large cats. Some of these cats had land with mineral rights that, if worked correctly, could bring great wealth and a contented way of life for the cat community.

The problem with the cats was that, even with all the land and potential wealth, they fixated their time and hostile efforts on the tiny patch of extremely productive land that Obadiah owned. In the name of their cat- God, they declared a holy cat war on Obadiah, his family and his fellow mice who lived on this land.

Obadiah from the Bible was a successful man who was a servant of God and used his own wealth to hide and protect the persecuted. The Wyoming Obadiah was also a protector of his fellow mice.

The cats came on multiple occasions to strike at Obadiah, many times in herds of cats. I am sure you can recall the expression “like trying to herd cats,” implying that, just as you cannot make a group of cats move in the same direction, at the same time, to accomplish a common goal, you cannot make some people move to accomplish a task. Trying to get a group of cats to strike at a common target and function in a coordinated effort is extremely rare.

What cats will do is wait until one cat has wounded its prey, and then the un-herd will move in as a collective body to share in the spoils.

Wyoming Obadiah, knowing the ways of cats and that he had a duty to protect his land and his fellow mice, decided he must out-gun the cats. He acquired a Wyoming made Big Horn Armory Model 89 lever action rifle in 500 S&W magnum. The cats were sorely afraid of the Model 89. They did not have such a weapon. They knew the Model 89 was capable of massive destruction of cats, should they attempt to attack Obadiah.

So they did what cats and children do when they do not get their way-they whined and complained to whomever would listen. “We do not have a Model 89 and no one will give us one.” “It is not fair.” “There needs to be a worldwide committee set up to look into Obadiah and his Model 89.” “There needs to be restrictions placed on Obadiah, his land and his Model 89.”

After all, what happens if the next time a cat or un-herd of cats tries attacking Obadiah, and he is so concerned he cannot repel the cats by conventional means, he brings out the big gun-the Model 89? Why won’t someone give us cats a Model 89? It is not fair-it is not fair. Do you think if we stood in the streets just outside of Obadiah’s land and threw stones & rocks and called to our cat-God to destroy Obadiah, that someone would give us a Model 89?

The cats were sorely afraid of the Big Horn Armory Model 89 Lever-Action Carbine.

The Model 89 is so powerful that if Obadiah fires it at one cat, the collateral damage down range may include many other cats. That is not fair-that is not fair. Obadiah continues to try to live in peace, even as he is circled daily by ever larger and more vicious cat-God inspired felines who wish to attack and be martyred into cat heaven.

Obadiah is a God fearing mouse and does not want the blood of many cats on his hands. He knows how the Model 89 works and what it will do to the cats, but he has never fired the “89.” He truly fears the day will come when he must make that deadly decision.

Obadiah knows he can fire the “89” many times and smite his enemies, but if he fails to defend even once, the cat un-herds will rush in and feed on the bodies of his fellow mice. If this happens, Obadiah’s lands will fall-perhaps-forever into the paws of the cats. Cats, who, after feasting on the dead, will allow the land to go feral and barren. The cats will also be free to prey on mice living outside of Obadiah’s former land and protection.

Make no mistake-Obadiah will use his Model 89, firing a Mt. Baldy Bullet, 50 caliber, 450 grain cat annihilating, Keith bullet, specially lubricated with beeswax and lard. He will do this before he allows the destruction of his own kind and his land, driving a spike into the heart of evil.

Cats have no idea what is truly fair or unfair, but they must learn–hopefully not from the mouth of a Model 89.

Major Van Harl USAF Ret
AR15.com

Honeoye Falls, NY -(Ammoland.com)- In late 2010, Swiss KRISS Arms Group acquired Sphinx, world leader in high-quality pistol production.

Their goal is to safeguard Switzerland’s respected tradition of technology and know-how in the small arms field.

Products from this consolidation include models and accessories specifically built for military and law enforcement and new commercial lines for the U.S. market. One of the products that will no doubt flourish in that market will be the Super V line.

According to their own literature, the Super V is “the first major breakthrough in weapons operating systems in more than 120 years! The patented KSVS actually works with the operator by helping deliver more rounds on-target, more of the time. By reducing felt recoil by as much as 60% and barrel elevation by 95%, the KSVS stays where you aim it and drastically reduces the need to re-acquire sight picture…even when firing full auto at 1000 rounds-per-minute!”

Traditional linear operating systems create forces that actually work against the operator’s ability to put rounds on-target. These forces create large amounts of felt recoil and muzzle climb; both of which impair the operator’s ability to keep his sight picture. The Kriss Super V design re-vectors these forces down and away from the operator and reduces felt recoil by as much as 60% and muzzle climb by as much as 95%! The KRISS Super V System works with the operator and actually enhances his ability to put more rounds on target, more of the time.

With simple rugged, moving parts, KRISS firearms represent industry- leading, state of the art design, engineering and construction. Because the KRISS Super V System absorbs the recoil, KRISS firearms are the lightest and most compact frame of any firearm in their class. (video showing comparison against various other firearms)

Designed for operation and tear-down in the most adverse environments, the KRISS field strips with the removal of 2 simple pushpins and completely disassembles with the use of 2 more pins, requiring no tools.

Of special interest to the non-mil/leo community are the semi-auto KRISS Super V Vector CRB/SO and the SBR/SO. Both are based upon the proven rugged milspec design and construction and are the “smallest, lightest, most controllable and accurate carbines in the world.”

SPECS: CRB / SBR

Caliber: .45 ACP

Barrel Length: 16/5.5″

Total Capacity: 13 (optional 17rd extension available)

Weight (empty): 5.8/5.6lbs

Length (stock folded): 26.5/16″

Length (stock extended): 34.8/24.3″

Height: 6.9″

About:<br

Jeff Cooper.

When Ruger introduced its new version of this concept, the crew from Gun Talk Television gave it a thorough workout, and they show off what they learned on this week’s episode.

A collaborative effort between Ruger and Gunsite (the shooting school founded by Jeff Cooper), the Ruger Gunsite Scout Rifle is billed as the ideal fighting carbine. Cooper called for a relatively lightweight, hard hitting, do-all rifle that in the hands of an accomplished shooter was able to place accurate, sustained fire out to long ranges, yet was quick-handling and light enough for all-day carry.

Co-hosts Tom and Ryan Gresham ventured to Gunsite Academy, in Paulden, Arizona, to talk with the folks who developed the rifle, and to find out just what it would do. They were impressed.

“I didn’t know what to expect,” said Ryan Gresham, “but this is a complete package, from the cartridge to the little details which make the Scout rifle a serious option as an all-round gun.”

Gun Talk Television airs on VERSUS and VERSUS HD on Sundays at 8:00 a.m. Eastern and Fridays at 10:00 a.m. Eastern. class="wp-caption-text">Benelli USA

ACCOKEEK, MD --(Ammoland.com)- Benelli announces the MR1 ComforTech – the latest addition to the MR1 family featuring a stock that’s ideal for normal hunting conditions.

The new MR1 ComforTech buttstock technology reduces recoil without adding any additional moving parts or weight. ComforTech also helps reduce muzzle climb, allowing shooters to get back on target fast.

Benelli offers various accessories for the MR1 ComforTech – switch the recoil pads to adjust the length of pull, or snap in a raised comb cheek piece to raise your eye level for various red dot sights and scopes. The MR1 ComforTech can be adjusted to suit individual physical specifications, giving shooters the best fit for shooting comfort.

The MR1 features a stainless steel, self-cleaning piston that operates directly against the proven rotating bolt, thereby eliminating the need for complex linkages found on other inferior gas systems. This piston-driven system (ARGO), perfected by Benelli, incorporates a gas port located just forward of the chamber where the gases are hotter and cleaner, resulting in less fouling and more reliable cycling. In function testing the same ARGO system in the M4 shotgun easily exceeded the military requirements. The result is a Benelli carbine with Marine-tough reliability able to function under the harshest conditions.

The sights are a military-style ghost ring aperture, adjustable for windage and elevation in the field using only a cartridge rim as an adjustment tool. All steel parts are black phosphate and aluminum parts are hard-anodized in a matte finish for low visibility and corrosion resistance. The Benelli MR1 carbine comes standard with a five-round magazine, but also accepts standard M16/AR15 high-capacity magazines. An optional Picatinny tri-rail fore-end kit is available for mounting a laser aiming device, front handle, illuminator and other accessories.

“The MR1 ComforTech is another great development from Benelli,” said Stephen McKelvain, Benelli’s VP of Marketing & Communications. “Any shooter who appreciates accuracy, reliability and being able to shoot fast will want to own a Benelli MR1.”

About:
VickersTactical.com

Fayetteville, NC --(Ammoland.com)- The folks at Daniel defense and I have been talking about doing a Vickers Tactical signature carbine since last year but only recently did we get our collective heads together to make it happen.

They are busy with government contracts as well as civilian customers and I have never been busier in my life since adding “firearms TV show host” to my list of duties.

In addition, only within the last year have they got on line with not only hammer forged barrels but lightweight or so called ‘pencil’ hammer forged barrels as well. Add to this some new accessories hitting the market and clearly it was time to make this rifle a reality.

The base carbine is essentially a DD M4 with a lightweight barrel. I was involved to a small degree with bringing that rifle to the market and I thought we did a great job then and I still do now. The barrel of course is made to mil spec standards and materials with a chrome lined 1 in 7 inch twist, except with a profile that drops a significant amount of weight. We added the top of the line RIS II rail system, the exact same one chosen by SOCOM for the SOPMOD block II contract, except in black. The RIS II in black has been nearly unobtainable so we felt that this premium quality carbine deserved a special rail and the introduction of the first Daniel Defense rifle to have a RIS II as standard equipment is a great start. And of course like all RIS II rail systems the bottom rail panel is removable to allow the end user to mount an M203 grenade launcher if need be.

No match trigger is fitted as I am very skeptical of them; after being an early proponent of the idea of a refined trigger in a truly combat worthy M4 carbine I have seen my fair share of problems with the concept. One bitten twice shy is my motto on this, so until I see one that I think is really bombproof I won’t have one in a Vickers Tactical carbine.

The rear sight is the excellent DD A1.5 fixed rear sight and standard pinned front sight / gas block assembly that protrudes thru a hole cut into the rail system. The DD rear sight was another product I was involved with that I am proud of; a really good piece of kit. To go along with this is the superb Aimpoint Micro T1 mounted in the DD Micro mount. This mount was designed to be a companion piece to the A1.5 rear sight and puts the irons in the bottom 1/3rd field of view. This whole setup is lightweight, strong, sleek and makes for a great red dot/back up iron sight aiming system.

The buttstock is the excellent VLTOR IMOD in brown. Magpul products on the carbine consist of the polymer trigger guard, pistol grip, anti tilt follower and low profile base plate installed on the aluminum Brownells magazine in brown. This was the only brown magazine on the market that I felt was up to my standards and my test mags have performed flawlessly. Remember however that like all USGI type aluminum magazines it should really be considered a 28 round mag, not a 30 rounder.

Daniel Defense

I added a Bravo Company gunfighter charging handle to the package but in the shortened mod 5 format (which was made at my request) and with radiused edges. I was luke warm on the mod 3 & 4 versions of this product but the mod 5 is a winner. As we move forward on the carbine the RIS II sports Ergo rail ladders in brown as well as a DD convertagrip stubby in brown. In the past I have never been a big vertical foregrip fan but the next piece of kit and it’s location changed that forever; the Surefire X300 mounted at the 12 o’clock position in front of the front sight. The best location I have tried to date for white light placement on a fighting gun. It allows you to use your thumb to activate the light from either side and is low enough you can see your irons over top. The convertagrip stubby is used as leverage to perform this by choking up on the rifle and getting your hand higher on the rail. This allows for excellent weapon control and provides excellent access to your white light without the possibility of masking the light while clearing corners. In addition the X300 provides alot more useable light than the older X200 and works great on a carbine or a pistol. In short a great white light setup.

The flash suppressor is from Surefire also and doubles as a mounting interface for their 556k shorty suppressor. Of course all this is topped off by the famous Vickers Combat Applications Sling (VCAS) exclusively manufactured by Blue Force Gear. This particular version is the padded variant in brown with the polymer adjuster. It is mounted up front on the carbine with a QD sling swivel into a DD swivel adapter with limited travel – meaning the sling cannot swivel 360 degrees and get twisted like a pretzel. It is attached in the rear thru the sling slot molded into the VLTOR IMOD and not with a QD sling swivel because the attachment point in the rear is not limited travel.

Last but not least the V lightning bolt logo is etched into the lower receiver on the right hand side so as to designate the rifle is one of a limited edition of 250 carbines. This first edition will never be made again in this exact configuration; DD and I may make some other signature rifles but not setup like this one that is for sure.

Ammoland.com)- Designed for the Special Forces operator, The RONI has found favor with SWAT, Motorcycle, School Resource Officers and Security Details.

Using the RONI, only one weapon is required for both close quarters and mid range engagements.

No more duplicating weapons, ammunition and magazines. The operator is carrying less weight. In utilizing one weapon system, logistics are streamlined, saving time and money by not having to stock replacement parts, magazines, ammunition and gun-smithing for two weapon systems.

Now, one weapon serves multiple applications. Because the RONI uses pistol caliber and not rifle caliber ammunition, there is much less chance of penetration thru walls causing collateral damage. The RONI converts your sidearm from a tertiary weapon into a primary weapon. The RONI is priced much less than a SMG. Training with one weapon system saves time and money and more importantly, allows the operator to develop the singular neuro-muscular coordination needed in high stress situations.

ACCURACY:

RONI Pistol Carbine Conversion allows you to realize the accuracy inherent in the pistol. Targets can be engaged at 50 yards and beyond.

The RONI shoulder stock design provides the stability to significantly improve accuracy and shooting distance. User accuracy is also increased because the sight line and rail height are above the barrel. The weight and design of the RONI significantly reduces recoil and eliminates muzzle jump contributing to increased accuracy.

TRANSFORMATION:

A pistol can be installed in the RONI in 5 seconds. No pistol disassembly or gunsmithing is required for installation in the RONI.

Repeatable zero is maintained when reinserting the pistol into the RONI. The RONI holds the pistol at three points, around the trigger guard, at the tang of the back strap, and at the under barrel rail mount.

Slide operation is controlled by a cocking handle friction fitted to the slide serrations. • RONI’s enlarged cocking handle design makes cocking easier for any size operator and allows quicker clearing of jams.

Jams are cleared exactly the same way as when shooting the pistol by itself. All necessary parts are accessible.

DESIGN FEATURES:

Polymer body with a reinforced aluminum spine provides the strength, rigidity & durability needed while reducing carrying weight for the operator.

Ergonomic design is a comfortable and user friendly. RONI’s design allows for accurate single handed shooting from either hand.

RONI’s unique design enables the user to “accurately point and shoot” because the barrel is significantly lower than the sight picture. RONI’s totally balanced design eliminates weapon recoil, improving accuracy and reducing target reacquisition time. Increased accuracy reduces training time.

RONI’s imposing, futuristic, stylized design provides a much more deterring profile than a pistol alone.

DIMENSIONS:

RONI G1 weight 3.22 lbs Overall length 18.5” (stock closed) 21.75” (stock extended) Height 7.5” (forward grip in vertical position) Width 3”.

RONI with a Glock 17 at 4.62 lbs is almost 30% lighter than the H&K MP5/10 SMG at 6.23 lbs. • RONI is much more concealable because it doesn’t have the MP5 forward banana clip and because of its size.

OPTIONS:

Three color options: Black, Green and Desert Tan.

Optional hinged brass catcher with magnetic release provides easy access to the ejection port. Velcro bag closure quickly empties the spent cases.

Optional secure magnetic vehicle mount allows for quick removal from the vehicle. • RONI accepts sound suppressors up to 1.375” diameter.

In the USA, All NFA Rules Apply

About:
ArmaLite Inc

Geneseo, IL – -(Ammoland.com)- ArmaLite is proud to announce that its new SPR Mod 1 LE Carbine is now in stock and available for immediate shipment to customers.

ArmaLite is known for its history of innovation. Its Special Purpose Rifle (SPR) has proved it for years. Now, the introduction of the ArmaLite SPR Mod 1 proves it once more, in spectacular fashion. The SPR Mod 1 is a forged, one-piece upper receiver/rail system with exclusive detachable side and bottom rails.

In true ArmaLite fashion, the SPR Mod 1 is like no other on the market. With other one-piece systems, you’re stuck forever with the rails you get at purchase, and stuck with their limits.

But ArmaLite knows you and your firearm often have more than one mission, and you want options. ArmaLite gives you just that. The SPR Mod 1’s three o’clock, six o’clock, and nine o’clock rails are detachable. That’s right, you can change your 1913 rails to fit your changing needs for sights… lights… lasers… grips… or swivels.

ArmaLite takes that versatility even further. Each SPR Mod 1 comes with three extra rails standard, at no extra cost. We give you a 1913 rail with a quick detach sling swivel hole. Each rifle comes with a low insert for when you need a bare rail with a low profile. There’s also a plain insert with a quick detach sling swivel hole. Changing your rails… your add-ons… and your SPR Mod 1… is as easy as turning a torque wrench.

Ingenious versatility isn’t the only reason you’ll want an SPR Mod 1. Its one-piece construction offers you a continuous optics platform (COP). There’s no gap to bridge between receiver and upper rail when you’re installing your scope or sights. This one-piece construction also gives the sighting platform extra rigidity. It’s a good, strong backbone. That means your sights will stay zeroed in the most trying conditions.

The SPR Mod 1 typifies the “ArmaLite Standard of Excellence.” With us, quality comes standard. There’s no extra charge for: the SPR Mod 1’s chrome lined, chrome moly vanadium steel barrel; its two-stage tactical trigger; the patented, extra strength steel bolt assembly; or the hard coated finish. These are all things that other companies consider options at an added cost.

The introduction of the new ArmaLite SPR Mod 1 is truly a new chapter in our history of innovation and our dedication to the quality you deserve.

Caliber: .223/5.56 NATO

Barrel: 16” chrome lined, chrome moly vanadium steel

Rifling twist: RH 1:7”

Muzzle Device: Flash suppressor

Front Sight Base: Picatinny gas block

Sights: A.R.M.S. polymer #71L-F & #71L-R

Trigger: Tactical two stage

Length: 35.5” with stock extended, approximately 32” collapsed

Weight: Approximately 6.5 lbs.

Accuracy: 1.5 – 2.5 MOA

ArmaLite Inc

Geneseo, IL - -(AmmoLand.com)- In February, ArmaLite introduced a limited run of AR10(T) Carbines for varmint hunters whose favorite game was wild boars. It was a response to customer calls and e-mails that if ArmaLite built it, they’d buy it. And buy they did. All the 10T’s were gone in just over a week.

Now, to answer new customer demand, ArmaLite’s doing it again. This time it’s a special run of an M15 they’ve dubbed the Case Ready Carbine.

Case Ready, because this gun is ready to run right out of the case.

Open the case and you find a carbine that meets military and law enforcement demands around the world. ArmaLite has combined the sighting options from the A2 and A4 carbine for flexibility and toughness. The rear sight is an MI flip-up emergency rear sight built for rugged use. That makes the gun “optics ready” as soon as you pick it up. The sight’s A2 style duel aperture is fully protected from accidental damage. Its lock detent button’s stepped down turns provide a surface you can grab onto if your hands are muddy or wet.

The Case Ready Carbine is tough on the outside, but what’s INSIDE this workhorse counts even more. Its aircraft-grade forgings have NO die-cast or extruded parts in the receivers. The interior surfaces of the upper receivers are hard coat anodized per military spec. In fact, ALL its aluminum parts are hard coat anodized per military spec. The 16” barrel is chrome lined, chrome moly vanadium steel. The patented bolt assembly is stronger than those found in similar firearms. Its ArmaLite mid-length gas system technology assures perfectly tuned gas flow for maximum reliability in the field.

All this value comes standard. There’s no extra charge for what many firearms makers consider options or add-ons. Take the MI emergency rear sight. It’s included in the price of the gun.

The new FNX 9 and FNX 40 pistols offer the key features demanded by today’s serious handgunner. New ergonomic polymer frames have a low bore axis for flat shooting and less felt recoil resulting in improved control.

Deep checkered grip panels are comfortable and designed for no-slip shooting. Four interchangeable backstrap inserts quickly offer a custom fit and feel. The profiled stainless steel slide has cocking serrations front and rear, a 4” hammer-forged stainless barrel delivers long life and pinpoint accuracy.

Fully ambidextrous operating controls make the FNX perfect for competition and personal defense for both right and left-handed shooters. Each FNX comes with both a decocker and manual safety making it one of the safest hammer guns on the market. Every part is proudly made in the USA.

FNP-45 Tactical
Originally developed for the U.S. Joint Combat Pistol Program and intended for field operations, the FNP-45 Tactical offers the standard FNP-45 ACP performance plus a host of unique features. The 5.3” stainless steel barrel has a threaded muzzle to accept a sound suppressor or compensator. The new FDE stainless steel slide is fitted with high-profile combat night sights and includes two mounting bases to accept an optional red dot electronic sight. Each FNP-45 Tactical comes with three 15-round magazines and an exclusive Eagle tactical soft case.

FN Five-SeveN
The innovative, single action, auto loading Five-SeveN pistol now comes with the option of adjustable target sights or fixed three-dot sights. It is available in olive drab green, matte black or flat dark earth finishes. It fires the low recoil 5.7x82mm cartridge – recently approved by the NRA Law Enforcement Activities Division for use in its Tactical Police Competition — and features a textured, ergonomic polymer frame with checkered panels for a secure grip. The polymer slide cover helps reduce weight and the operating controls are placed for easy access with a reversible magazine release and ambidextrous manual safety levers. The barrel is hammer forged and chrome lined for long service life.

SCAR
SCAR 16S is back in black.
The SCAR 16S – the semi-auto version of the U.S. Special Operations Command’s newest service rifle — is now available in matte black with all the same features as the flat dark earth model and can be purchased with 10 or 30-round magazines.

SCAR 17S
Released for 2010 is the highly anticipated SCAR 17S now available for civilian purchase. Chambered in 7.62x51mm NATO (308 Win.) and slightly heavier than the SCAR 16S, this unique carbine offers long-range accuracy, exceptional reliability and match winning versatility.

Both SCARs have fully ambidextrous operating controls, a free floating, cold hammer-forged Mil-SPEC barrel with hard-chromed bore; a receiver-integrated MIL-STD 1913 optical rail plus three accessory rails for mounting scopes, electronic sights, lights, or lasers. The side-folding polymer stock is fully adjustable for comb height and has six settings for length of pull. The SCAR also features a tactically advantageous reciprocating charging handle for quick ammo and magazine failure response.

FNAR
The FNAR is now available with 16” cold hammer forged MIL-SPEC fluted barrel with a hard-chromed bore and target crown barrel. This extremely accurate semi-automatic rifle has an ambidextrous magazine release button that drops the detachable 20, 10 or 5 round steel box magazine (DBM). A one-piece receiver mounted MIL-STD 1913 optical rail comes standard for unlimited optics choices and also features three rails on the stock’s fore-end for mounting tactical lights or lasers.

FN Accessories
FNH USA is also providing several new accessories for 2010. The first is a deluxe Shooter’s Mat. Olive drab color and easy to carry it offers pockets for shooting supplies and accessories. There are two new custom formed carry cases for the PS90 and FS2000. Special foam cut-out sections to securely carry your carbine with an external pocket for magazines and accessories. Also, a new FS2000 Tactical Foregrip enhances the functionality of any FS2000. It easily replaces the current foregrip with a tri-rail MIL-STD 1913 forend for mounting lights, pods, lasers and other accessories.

About:<br

Hi-Point Carbines, one of the best firearm bargains available in today’s market, debuts new models and calibers.

Incredibly affordable at only $249 to $299 depending on sighting system, Hi-Point Carbines are not to be underestimated just because they do NOT cost $800.00.

For a price under most .22LR rifles nowadays, the Hi-Point Carbine is a serious firearm and very affordable for most gun owners.

Hi-Points Carbines are a bit wild looking but then again check out the many multi-thousand dollar rifles and carbines in today’s market covered with so much Picatinny railing they feel like handful of razor blades, and, Hi-Points do have handy top-side and forearm bottom Picatinny rails, and that’s more than enough for a quick reaction carbine.

We digress, but that’s fun too….

Currently
Hi-Points come chambered in 9mm Luger and .40 S&W calibers. It is reasonable to expect to pick up an extra 100-250 feet per second of velocity and obviously more energy over handguns chambered in these loads from Hi-Point carbines thanks to the longer barrel compared to hndguns of the same caliber; especially if using +P loads.

Hi-Point Carbines are employed by police departments world-wide. Compact, light in weight, reliable, accurate and did we mention affordable, these handy robust carbines can sling lead with their same size but much more expensive counter-parts all day long.

The robust all weather black molded polymer skeletonized stock is both tough and light in weight. Additionally the forearm offers an excellent grabby surface regardless of time of year, conditions or whether the user is wearing gloves, mitts or is bare handed.

The simple blow back design reliably feeds ammunition from the compact single stack 10-round magazine which also fits the Hi-Point series of affordable same caliber semi-auto pistols. When the last round is fired the bolt locks to the rear for a rapid reload.

Model 995TS shown with optional $24.99 (MSRP) folding hand grip.

Models/Sights/MSRP prices for the 9mm; the .40 caliber will be about $25.00 more for each model listed below.
