Champion Crowns 2010 Range Contest Winners

Champion has crowned the winners of their second annual Range Contest. Participants had the chance to win the Ultimate Shooting Range—a fully-outfitted range system loaded with gear valued at more than $1,700. Two additional backyard range gear systems were also up for grabs. The three prize packages were loaded with targets, trap throwers, sporting clays, shooting glasses, hearing muffs and more. Hunters and shooters had a chance to win by submitting a 200-word essay online. Exhibition shooter Tom Knapp helped judge the more than 150 entries.

ANOKA, Minn. --(Ammoland.com)- Champion announces the second annual Range Contest winners. Cullen Grissom edged out the competition with his 200-word essay to win a fully outfitted personal shooting range package loaded with Champion shooting accessories and gear worth more than $1,700. Two other finalists also won backyard shooting range gear packages from Champion.

The grand prize winner, Cullen Grissom, is an avid shooter who loves the fun Champion brings to shooting practice. And, he’s actively involved in two organizations promoting the shooting sports. He works with youth to develop skills, confidence and personal responsibility as an Assistant Scoutmaster with the local Boy Scouts troop and is a Shotgun Coach of the 4-H Sportsman’s Club in Brazos County, Texas.

Champion awarded three lucky winners a fully-stocked personal shooting range gear package in this years’ Range Contest. Champion spokesperson Tom Knapp selected the finalists from more than 150 entries.
