title="AmmoLand Reports" href="http://www.ammoland.com/" target="_self">Ammoland.com)- Crimson Trace, market leader for integrated laser sighting systems, today announced the release of their new Rail Master platform for all rail-equipped firearms.

With an MSRP of $149, the innovative laser sight sets new standards for durability, battery life and quality.

Featuring a tap on / tap off switch, the compact unit comes with four interchangeable inserts which utilize Secure-Lock Technology to enable a custom fit to any handgun, enabling the user to adjust the sight’s location on the rail to optimize activation.

“The new Rail Master is the most versatile laser sight available,” said Kent Thomas, Marketing Director for Crimson Trace. “Our design group took great pains to make incorporate all the quality engineering that has been a hallmark of Crimson Trace products and we’re proud to be able to offer a low light solution for the widest possible selection of handguns and long guns.”

The Rail Master offers a four hour battery life as well as the most powerful laser permitted by law. When mounted on a handgun, the low profile sight holsters easily and barely extends the profile of the frame. It sits unobtrusively on the railed handguard of an AR15 and extends the versatility of this highly adaptable rifle.

Fully adjustable for windage and elevation, the unit retains zero when removed from the weapon and runs on easily available 1/3N batteries.
Tags: Colt Manufacturing Company

WEST HARTFORD, Conn. --(Ammoland.com)- Colt’s Manufacturing Company LLC has teamed up with Crimson Trace Corporation for the first ever Lasergrips, grip-integrated laser sight emblazoned with the Colt logo, which is now standard on the Colt New Agent pistol.

This compact, lightweight Colt 1911 series pistol with wrap-around, front activation laser sight, gives shooters increased accuracy and confidence in their shot placement.

“The Colt New Agent is an excellent choice for a concealable pistol for personal protection,” said Joyce Rubino, Colt’s Vice President of Marketing, “With the addition of Crimson Trace® laser sights, New Agent shooters can be increasingly confident that their shots will hit the mark.”

The upgraded New Agent model 1911 weighs less than 24 ounces and measures 6.75 inches in length. While possessing the power and protection of a full sized pistol, this compact model is a great option for concealed carry. Colt’s New Agent offers a seven-round magazine capacity in .45 ACP and an eight-round magazine capacity in 9 mm Parabellum.

The carbon steel slide is finished in matte blue and the lightweight alloy frame is black anodized. The New Agent’s trigger is skeletonized aluminum with a 3-inch bushingless barrel.

The New Agent’s traditional double diamond grips have been replaced with black, wrap-around Crimson Trace grips made of a polymer and rubber combination. With the Crimson Trace laser sight and trench style sighting system in lieu of iron sights, the New Agent has a snagless draw, adding to the capability of this pistol.

Highly visible at self-defense distances, the red laser comes factory-zeroed at 50 feet. The unit may be fine tuned by the user for their choice of ammunition, via integral windage and elevation adjustments. When the pistol is held with a natural firing grip, the instinctive, front-activation laser is initiated.

“We’re thrilled to offer this quality Colt pistol paired with Crimson Trace’s popular laser sight to give shooters a product combination that will increase shot confidence,” said Rubino.

About Colt’s Manufacturing Company LLC
Ammoland.com)- Crimson Trace, market leader for integrated laser sighting systems, today announced the release of new Lasergrips models for the Gen 4 Glock full-size, compact and subcompact 9mm and .40 caliber pistols.

With an MSRP of $279, these Lasergrips feature the smallest laser diode ever offered, with full windage and elevation adjustability and a master on/off switch.

The new units fit seamlessly over the Glock’s backstrap and require no gunsmithing to install. Because the laser utilizes Crimson Trace’s patented instinctive activation system, the user simply picks up the gun in a normal firing grip and the pressure sensor in the grip module instantly activates the laser to project a bright dot on the target.

“Glock handguns are justifiably one of the most popular self defense firearms on the market,” said Kent Thomas, Marketing Director for Crimson Trace.

“With the new Lasergrips, the Gen 4 models now have a low light, instinctively activated sighting system that takes them to a new level of usability and we now fit almost every model in the Glock lineup.”

The new Glock Gen 4 Lasergrips are zeroed at the factory, offer a four hour battery life as well as the most powerful laser permitted by law. The low profile Lasergrip is fully compatible with the recently launched Lightguard tactical light, turning any Glock into the ultimate in low light defensive handguns.

With SHOT show looming, Crimson Trace is readying for a host of exciting new product introductions and events to capture the imagination of the firearms buying public. Look for announcements over the forthcoming weeks.
Tags: Iain Harrison posing with his version of a home defense "mouse gun"

Let’s just say that certain bald members of the gun writer community are now scarred for life. At great personal risk to reputation and career, Iain has graciously agreed to answer some of our more pressing questions…

Tom: Rumor has it that in addition to handling Media Relations for Crimson Trace and hitting the competitive circuit, that you’re a gunsmith and do scary stuff like milling and lathe. Are you personally making the new Crimson Trace Lightguard in your garage?

Iain Harrison: Ha, I wish! I thought my shop was pretty trick until I visited the Director of Engineering at CTC. His inspired an instant case of machine envy and besides, he’s got a kegerator next to his welder. I can’t compete with that!

Tom: We’ve heard rumors that you’re been secretly working on a creating a new Shooting Sport – Kilted Action Kombat Skirt Society (KAKSS) or something? Care to comment?

Iain: There are a few avant-garde members of the shooting community who’ve discovered secret inside knowledge that women have been keeping to themselves for centuries. Once you go kilt, you never go back – it’s like air conditioning for your boys and the first time you experience a fresh mountain breeze ruffling your ahem, feathers, you realize what you’ve been missing all these years. The only downside is going prone, but that’s the spectator’s problem, not mine.

Tom: So if I’m hearing you right, you’re saying that the more traditional form of, umm, let’s say ‘concealed carry’ is not all its cracked up to be. What Crimson Trace product do you recommend for under-the-kilt use? Can lasers burn, ahh, sensitive areas?

Iain: Unfortunately, the killjoys at the FDA limit the power output of consumer lasers, so even if you managed to somehow turn it on while in the holster, there’s no chance of singeing the family jewels. On a side note, I find a Laserguard-equipped Glock 36 fits perfectly in a sporran, which provides the user with a novel concealed carry option.

Tom: Our editorial staff has had a raging debate over whether the MK-19 Automatic Grenade Launcher is appropriate for home defense. As a former Military guy and multi-gun competitor, can you please weigh in on this and settle the issue once and for all?

Iain: Look, if you’re going trust your family’s safety to a weapons system, at least pick a decent caliber. Experts the world over agree that a 105mm Light Gun parked at the top of the stairs is the bare minimum…

Tom: So you’ve done Top Shot, Construction, amateur gun-smithing, and Media Relations for Crimson Trace. What’s next? When are you going to enter Top Chef? Can you even cook?

Iain: Do they have an MRE heating stage in that competition? If not, I’m probably going to struggle.

Tom: Just hypothetically speaking, if we took the first three Top Shot Champions – you, Chris Reed, and Dustin Ellerman – and set up a cage match stocked with assorted medieval weapons, what weapon would you choose? And who would emerge victorious?

Iain: Easy. I’d pick a trebuchet, that way there wouldn’t be any room in the cage for anyone else & I’d win by default. Seriously though, I think Dustin would emerge victorious as he’s just so damned nice – there’s no way Chris and I would be able to overcome his aw-shucks grin.

Tom: What can you tell our readers about the Crimson Trace Skunkworks? What kinds of things can we expect to see next?

Iain: You remember the Death Star in Return of the Jedi? Yeah, like that. More mainstream products that aren’t capable of destroying an entire planet include a mini rail-mounted laser, new sights for the Gen 4 Glocks and a Lightguard, weapon mounted light for the 1911.

Tom: When can our staff expect to receive invitations to the ultra-exclusive Crimson Trace SHOT Show party?

Iain: You mean we’re having one? How come I wasn’t told? (insert sound of furious phone conversation with agent).

Again, we’d like to thank Iain for sharing his time and wisdom!

About:
Eric at the Gunmart Blog

United States --(Ammoland.com)- Its always interesting to take a look back at the firearms industry and see which guns and gear have carved out the path things have taken over the years.

It wasn’t too long ago that the mere idea of mounting lights and lasers to firearms was an almost inconceivable notion…

Once people did start mounting weapons with lights and lasers it was almost comical. Duct taping a Maglite to your rifle was pretty much the best option you had available.

Fast forward to today’s time and you are hard pressed to find a firearm that can’t be equipped with a laser or light option, and Crimson Trace is one of the primary reasons why that is the case. It pretty much goes without saying that Crimson Trace has had a huge impact on the gun industry over their relatively short 17 years of existence.

They have changed the way we view personal defense and tactical firearms as well as the training and tactics that goes along with it. They have changed the way manufacturers design their guns and how they are marketed to the public, and law enforcement… and now they have just launched a product to the marketplace that I believe will once again be a game changer. I think that very shortly down the road we are going to see that the Crimson Trace Lightguard is going to do for handgun mounted lights what their innovative approach to lasers has done for handgun mounted lasers.

Stealing the same means of intuitive activation from their extremely successful Laserguard line of products, their new Lightguard allows you to cast a 100 Lumen light at your target just by gripping the gun. Its that simple. The greatness of the design is really all about its simplicity of operation. There are no switches to toggle, no dials to turn, no modes of operation to cycle through, nothing complicated at all. Just grip the gun firmly and the light is on. The 100 Lumens of light that it provides is more than enough to light up any area that would be considered realistic handgun distance. It is also concentrated and bright enough to temporarily inhibit a bad guy’s vision at close range.

The other amazing aspect of this new design is its size. Comparatively speaking… its tiny. Weighing in at an inconsequential 1.4 oz on my postal scale, this thing doesn’t even feel like it is even there. Overall length of the entire unit is approximately 4 1/2 inches, it is 1 1/2 inches in height and just a hair over one inch in width. It doesn’t get any more perfect than that, does it? And when you throw in the fact that it contains a flashlight that puts out 100 Lumens of light, it really begins to boggle the mind.

Its because of its diminutive size that I think the Crimson Trace Lightguard is a real game changer. Now civilians have an amazing option for a concealed carry handgun light that can actually be concealed easily. Couple this light with a Crimson Trace Lasergrip and you have one heck of a setup. I am also of the opinion that the Lightguard works out to be the perfect weapon light for a nightstand gun, and it is also something that is going to greatly appeal to the law enforcement community as well. I don’t think it will ever completely negate the need for a primary handheld light in every situation, but there are many specific applications where it could work very well as a “one and only” light.

Installation of the Lightguard is simple and straight forward. Snap the two polymer sections together around the trigger guard and then tighten the hex bolts with the supplied wrench and you are good to go. You will also notice from the pictures, that it works just fine on first gen guns like mine that do not have a light rail. Changing the one CR2 lithium battery is as quick and easy as unscrewing the hex bolts and disconnecting the two sections of the unit.
<div

I have no problems to report from the two separate shake downs which I have put it through. There is also no noticeable difference in the way the unit makes the gun feel and handle during live fire. Aside from the activation button on the grip, the light doesn’t even feel like it is there. Overall, it just makes for a spectacular addition for low-light shooting. Its also amazingly casts enough residual light around the gun itself that you can easily get a full sight picture even in complete darkness – impressive!
<div

Adding to the consumer friendly experience, a Dealer Locator has been built in that utilizes easy to use Google Maps that will help find over 2000 Crimson Trace dealers and ranges.

“We are very excited about the launch of the new Crimson Trace website.” Said Gary Killingsworth, CTC’s E-Commerce Manager. “We’ve painstakingly mapped out every detail of the project and we feel that the new site will allow our customers, dealers and partners quickly and easily find what they are looking for within a few clicks, while creating and maintaining a digital environment that is fun, fast and worth visiting regularly.”

A video library addressing frequently asked questions and giving step by step instructions regarding the installation, use and maintenance of Crimson Trace’s extensive lineup of sighting tools is a key part of the experience.

“Our customers are very web-savvy and often prefer to do their own research, rather than calling our world-class customer service team,” said Killingsworth. “We wanted to give them every tool they asked for and already the video section of the site has experienced record traffic.”

The new Crimson Trace.com experience also lets the visitor share with other users details of their own lasersight knowledge and even allows them to buy gift certificates for friends and family.

CTC Defense, the military division of Crimson Trace also gets its own presence as part of the upgrade and visitors will be able to see some of the high-speed equipment developed as part of the company’s focus on the needs of SF troops. title="AmmoLand Reports" href="http://www.ammoland.com/" target="_self">Ammoland.com)- Crimson Trace today announced the availability of three exciting new LIGHTGUARD tactical lights for Glock, Springfield XDM and Smith & Wesson M&P pistols.

The LIGHTGUARD 100-lumen LED tactical lights mark the first entry into the handgun tactical light market for the manufacturer of industry-leading LASERGRIPS and LASERGUARD laser sighting systems.

Crimson Trace Lightguard Tactical Lights For GLOCK, XDM & M&P Pistols

All three products utilize Crimson Trace’s hallmark instinctive activation pressure pad, which turns on the light when the gun is held in a normal firing grip. MSRP is $149.

“Customers told us that they wanted a bright tactical light that was lighter, slimmer and easier to turn on and off,” said Fred Karl, director of product development at Crimson Trace. “They also wanted a light that fit in a CCW holster and looked like it was designed for their gun,” he added.

Crimson Trace responded with a small package size that’s no wider than the slide, no longer than the muzzle of a sub-compact, and weighs only XX oz. Unlike most rail-mounted tactical lights, the LIGHTGUARD is small enough to fit in most popular concealed carry holsters. The Glock and M&P models are compatible with CTC’s rear-activated laser systems, creating the ultimate personal defense package.

Small size doesn’t mean weak performance, however. The LIGHTGUARD is powered by a CR2 battery which drives the 100-lumen, Cree LED diode for over two hours of illumination. There is a master on / off switch to completely shut down the unit for daytime use. The lens and reflector system in the light head were specifically designed to cast a wide beam with a high-intensity center spot for quick and positive target identification.

Like all Crimson Trace products, the LIGHTGUARD is water-resistant, and was designed and tested to withstand recoil from the hottest personal defense loads.

The LIGHTGUARD was the winner of the prestigious FMG Publications’ 2011 Academy of Excellence Award for Self Defense Product of the year. Units are available for Glock full size and compact models, the full-size Smith & Wesson M&P and Springfield’s XD and XDm. Further details can be found at Ammoland.com)- Until now, the 1911 owner who wanted both custom grips and a laser for their 1911 was out of luck.

Crimson Trace, the industry leader in the laser sight arena has solved this problem by integrating their patented, grip activated laser with a range of high-end stock materials, such as G10 and stabilized laminated wood, bringing both artistry and rugged engineering to John Browning’s classic design.

The Master Series starts with two solid stock blanks which are then CNC machined to tolerances of 0.002” to form the grip profile and texture. Skilled technicians carefully set the laser sighting module and instinctive activation switch package into the grips by hand and the entire package can then be easily installed by the end user. Simply remove the original grip screws, pull off the old grips and snap on the Master Series replacements.

Through the use of an ultra-compact diode module and inspired design, the Master Series is compatible with any ambidextrous safety on the market and features a new master on/off switch. This combination means that popular bobtail versions of the government and commander size pistols now also have Lasergrip option, allowing this easily-carried defensive handgun to benefit fully from the advantages of laser sights.

The shooting industry got a sneak peek at the Master Series grips at SHOT show in January and feedback from dealers, trainers and professional shooters was incorporated in to the final design. These newest grips will be available in early May, with an expected MSRP of $360.

About:

Crimson Trace is the world’s only manufacturer of grip-integrated laser sighting systems. class="wp-caption-text">Kahr Arms

PEARL RIVER, NY –-(Ammoland.com)- Kahr Arms is proud to introduce two of their most popular model handguns, the P380 and the PM45, now available with Crimson Trace Laserguards directly from the factory.

The KP3833L and PM4543L will come with the popular Crimson Trace Laserguard model LG- 437 straight from the Kahr factory. The Laserguard design is the most compact, instinctively activated, user-adjustable laser sighting system available. Your KP3833L or PM4543L comes complete with allen wrench for adjustment, sight cleaners, batteries, and Crimson Trace decal.

The Model LG-437 uses either two #357 silver oxide batteries or a single 1/3N 3-volt lithium battery. These small batteries allow the Laserguard to be unobtrusive yet powerful enough to provide the brightness. The LG-437 uses the smaller 3.3mm diameter laser diode, which reduces the overall size of the laser diode housing.

The LG-437 has both windage and elevation adjustments for shooters to adjust the laser for a perfect hit.

The .380 ACP caliber KP3833L has a 2.5” premium Lothar Walther match grade barrel, black polymer frame, matte stainless steel slide, 6+1 magazine capacity, and comes with two 6-round stainless steel magazines. The .45 ACP caliber PM4543L, with a 3.14” barrel, Lothar Walther match grade polygonal rifling and 1-16.38 right hand twist, has 5+1 magazine capacity and comes with two 5-round stainless steel magazines. It also has a black polymer frame with a matte stainless steel slide.

Come by booth #15951 at SHOT Show for a first look. Holsters for the KP3833L and PM4543L will be available in January 2011 at www.kahr.com.

Laserguards are made in the United States of America. Crimson Trace is the world’s only manufacturer of grip-integrated laser sighting systems. Police, all branches of the U.S. Military and responsible citizens worldwide use patented Crimson Trace products.

Hunting Helps Wounded Heroes Heal

DALLAS, TX --(AmmoLand.com)- For many seriously injured military veterans, sports and outdoor activities have been shown to be effective in helping them rebuild confidence and focus on their abilities to achieve. For that reason, in mid-March, Balfour Beatty Construction’s Dallas/Fort Worth division hosted a week-long pig hunt for wounded veterans at their hunting lease in Richland Springs, Texas.

“The ORHF hunts are huge for guys like me”

Balfour Beatty Construction employees labored before the event to prepare the site for the heroic hunters, including building ramps for the hunting cabin and special deer blinds to accommodate wheelchairs.

The event, organized through the Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA) Outdoor Recreation Heritage Fund (ORHF) with Balfour Beatty hunting lease partner Jack Hazel, also received additional support from other industry organizations. Savage Sports Corporation provided new guns for the hunters to test, and was represented by company CEO Ron Coburn; Crimson Trace Lasers contributed additional guns and laser sighting accessories and was represented by Travis Noteboom, Director of Public Relations; and Outdoor Life magazine Executive Editor John Snow was present to provide full coverage of the event.

Five wounded veterans participated in the hunt: PVA-ORHF Chairman, Joe Fox, a retired USMC Vietnam Veteran who hunts from a wheelchair; Dr. Stanley McGowan, a retired U.S. Army Captain, who served in Vietnam and is blind; quadriplegic SSG Matthew Keil, who is retired from the U.S. Army, who hunts using a power chair with a custom “sip and puff” setup to operate his rifle; former U.S. Army SP4 David Bradshaw, who also hunts from a chair; and retired USMC Corporal Jason Mikolajcik, who is recuperating from extensive burns and shrapnel wounds received from an IED explosion in Iraq.

For SSG Keil, this trip marked his first time away from home without his wife since receiving his wounds. “The ORHF hunts are huge for guys like me,” said SSG Keil. “It gets me back out into the world, doing things I liked to do before my injury. And it’s great to be around other vets and people who see the guy … not the chair.”

The vets brought down 36 pigs in just three days of hunting, five times more than the lease hunters took in the entire 2009 hunting season.

The PVA Outdoor Heritage Fund, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, was established in 2001 to permanently support its many sports programs, including fishing, hand cycling and triathlon, track and field events, and recreational shooting, hunting, and fishing. class="wp-caption-text">Crimson Trace

Wilsonville, OR --(AmmoLand.com)- Crimson Trace announces an addition to the revolutionary modular vertical foregrip, the MVF-515 GREEN that now utilizes both a green laser and a white light in one unit.

Both light sources follow the Crimson Trace mantra of instinctive activation for ease of use.

Given the popularity and usefulness of green lasers, the Crimson Trace engineering team was able to solve the two banes of green laser technology: The first one, heat, which shortens the laser diode life and second, high power draw, rendering green lasers useless in a matter of minutes.

The engineers at Crimson Trace have overcome both of these detriments by utilizing the latest technologies into the new MVF-515 GREEN. In addition to solving the heat and energy issues, Crimson Trace has been able to devise a way for the laser to operate in temperatures that other lasers can’t compete with. Our green laser was tested from 16ºF to over 120ºF. Up until the new technology that Crimson Trace engineers have developed, this range has been unobtainable in consumer grade green lasers.

The MVF-515 GREEN brings speed, accuracy and effectiveness of heads-up sighting to those that require the tactical advantage available with this new product. The MVF-515 GREEN provides three tools in one. A laser, white-light, and a robust vertical foregrip in a single, modular package. The polymer grip panels are mounted onto an aircraft grade, 6061-T6 aluminum, hard-anodized tang and contain activation switches on each side that control the light and the laser independently. (The MVF-515 GREEN can be programmed in seconds for momentary laser or light, strobe or constant-on.

The white light is adjustable from 150 to 200 lumens.) Two CR-123 batteries provide over 4 hours of light illumination and over 6 hours of green laser illumination.

Beam Intensity – 5mw peak, 520-540nm, Class 3R laser

Dot Size – Approximately 0.5” diameter at 50 feet

Batteries – Two CR123 batteries; over four hours of illumination. Minimum 6 hours of laser illumination

Activation – Side-located integrated momentary pressure switch and master on/off switch

Warranty – Three-year full warranty

Weight – 10.2 ounces [with batteries]

This product complies with 21 CFR 1040.10 10

The MVF-515 GREEN is anchored in place by a two-screw rail mount that fits most standard Picatinny rails. All electrical components fit into the vertical foregrip, which is ergonomically designed for comfort and built for hard use.

The texture of the MVF-515 GREEN is aggressive and can be used with or without gloves. Batteries and electronics are kept dry and functional by a water resistant O-ring built into the grip panels of the foregrip.

The MVF-515 GREEN tang is compatible with the Red Laser Module (MVF-515 MOD R). Sold separately, available at MSRP $249.

All Crimson Trace laser sights have both windage and elevation adjustments for shooters to make adjustments on their own. All Crimson Trace laser sighting systems come with an accessory pack that contains batteries, hex wrenches for laser adjustments and several cleaning swabs. A limited three-year warranty is standard.

About:
Kahr Arms

PEARL RIVER, NY --(AmmoLand.com)- Kahr Arms is proud to introduce two new models in their popular PM Series. The PM9 and the PM40 are now available with Crimson Trace Laserguards directly from the factory.

The PM9093L and PM4043L will come with the newly released Crimson Trace Laserguard (LG-437). class="wp-caption-text">Crimson Trace

Wilsonville, OR —-(AmmoLand.com)- Crimson Trace announces the next generation of Lasergrips for most standard and compact Glock pistols. The LG-417 fits the 2nd and 3rd generations of the Glock models 17, 17L, 19, 22, 23, 32, 34, 35, 37 and 38. Suggested retail price is $329.00.

The LG-417 is the ultimate refinement of laser sighting systems for Glock pistols. The Lasergrips encircle the polymer grip of the Glock and anchored in place by a locking-block attachment that discreetly covers the beavertail. This skeletonized design leaves the backstrap open and adds little to the width of the stock Glock grip, giving it the advantage of fitting common LE/MIL duty holsters.

It is instinctively activated by a pressure switch built into the front strap of the polymer Lasergrips. Simply grasping the firearm in a normal shooting grip activates the laser. The master on/off switch is located on the left-hand side and uses new microprocessor touch sensor switch technology versus a mechanical switch found on most other Lasergrips. Users simply press the recessed pressure switch to turn the unit on or off. All electrical components fit into the Lasergrip, which is small in size and is ergonomically designed for comfort.

Two #2032 batteries are located in the palm swell on each side of the Lasergrips, providing over 4 hours of constant-on beam time. Rubber overmolding covers both the activation button on the front strap and the master on/off switch, providing improved grip while shooting.

Another new feature of the LG-417 is that it uses the smaller 3.3mm diameter laser diode versus the standard 5.6 diameter diode that is found in most all other brands of laser sighting devices. This reduces the overall size of the laser diode housing. As with all other Lasergrips, the LG-417 has both windage and elevation adjustments for shooters to make adjustments on their own. All Lasergrips come with an accessory pack that contains batteries, hex wrenches for laser adjustments, a cleaning cloth and several cleaning swabs. A three-year warranty is standard.

About:
Crimson Trace

Wilsonville, OR —-(AmmoLand.com)- Crimson Trace is pleased to introduce two new front activated Lasergrips for the SIG P226 and P228/P229.

The new Lasergrips incorporate a one-piece wrap-around grip style with a large front activation switch. MSRP for both models is $329.00.

The new LG-426 and LG-429 Lasergrips are contoured to be both comfortable and secure in the hand while shooting. The aggressively textured polymer side panels are uniquely patterned to optimize the contact of the palm onto the pistol and are connected together with a durable rubber strap which provides even more grip while shooting with or without gloves.

Inside these robust Lasergrips is a storage slot for an adjustment wrench. The wrench is not only held in place by the form-fitted slot but a magnet also provides extra retention of the sight adjusting tool.

The supplied CR2032 batteries provide over two hours of illumination and the shelf life of these batteries is five years. As with all Lasergrips, the red targeting dot is user adjustable for windage and elevation. There is a touch-sensitive master on/off switch on the left side of the Lasergrips that is inset into the grip.

Installation is extremely simple with the new SIG Lasergrips. Simply remove the stock grips and attach the Lasergrips using the stock screws and washers. The Lasergrips are pre-sighted at the factory for 50 feet but can be changed by the shooter by turning the elevation and windage adjustment screws located on the laser diode housing. All Lasergrips come with an accessory pack that contains batteries, hex wrenches for user adjustability, a cleaning cloth and several cleaning swabs.
