The new TPR (Tactical Precision Rifle) is built for long-range accuracy and features a 20-inch, bead-blasted, 416 stainless steel heavy barrel (HBAR).

Other features include a M111 Modular Free-Float rail system, an AAC Blackout flash suppressor, B5 Systems – Special Operations Peculiar Modification (SOPMOD) stock, Magpul Original Equipment (MOE) grip and trigger guard.

The DPMS Tactical Precision Rifle combines long-range precision and tactical adaptability and is chambered in 5.56 NATO. Suggested retail is $1349.00.

BURLINGTON, Wash. --(Ammoland.com)- The U.S. Practical Shooting Association (USPSA), the national governing body for the sport of practical shooting, announced that DPMS Firearms, one of the largest and best known manufacturers of AR-15 rifles for the military, law enforcement and civilian markets, will be the title sponsor of the organization’s annual multigun championships.

The DPMS USPSA MultiGun National Championships take place this weekend, October 20-23, at the Desert Sportsman’s Rifle & Pistol Club in Las Vegas, Nev. More than 150 of the nation’s top multigun shooters are expected to compete for titles in USPSA’s Open, Limited, Tactical and Heavy Metal divisions utilizing three types of firearms, a pistol, a shotgun and a rifle.
