Congress Recognizes Efforts to Provide Venison for the Hungry

Washington, DC --(AmmoLand.com)- Despite all the hotly contested issues facing our legislators these days, both the House and Senate found something that all could agree on…providing donated venison to the hungry is a good thing!

The good work being done by organizations like Farmers and Hunters Feeding the Hungry in communities nationwide is definitely being noticed and making a difference in many lives.

Merry Christmas from Farmers and Hunters Feeding the Hungry

COLUMBUS, OH –-(AmmoLand.com)- I hope you are doing well as we draw near to the end of 2009. God has done some amazing things this year with FHFH.

We have seen growth in the number of Coordinators nationwide. Along with new Coordinators we have many new participating meat processors.

New Coordinators and meat processors has translated into growth in the amount of nutritious meat that we’ve been able to distribute to hungry men, women and children. Since July our meat donation totals are up by about 30% over the same period in 2008. This is a wonderful blessing from the Lord!

I’m excited to share this good news of how God is growing and blessing the ministry of FHFH with you. Over two thousand years ago the Herald Angels were excited to share the good news about the birth of the Savior Jesus with lowly shepherds on a hillside halfway around the world. God is still at work in this world bringing spiritual healing and meeting physical needs through the love of Jesus. Don’t let anyone convince you otherwise!
