FAIRFAX, Va. --(Ammoland.com)- The NRA Foundation is pleased to announce Smith & Wesson as a major sponsor for their Friends of NRA television show as well as their banquets for 2011.

The television show, airing Sunday nights at 10:30 Eastern Time on the Outdoor Channel, follows former MLB player Matt Duff and professional shooter Jessie Abbate as they explore Friends of NRA grassroots fund-raising programs across the United States.

Their journey encompasses the entire shooting world as Matt and Jessie travel to NRA events and meet the people who truly consider themselves friends of the NRA.

“The NRA Foundation gladly welcomes Smith & Wesson as a sponsor for the Friends of NRA,” said Kyle Weaver, Managing Director of NRA’s Field Operations Division. “Through their support, we will be able to allocate greater funds to shooting sports programs on the national and local levels.”

As a Sharpshooter Sponsor of the Friends of NRA television show, Smith & Wesson becomes the exclusive pistol sponsor for the show. And at the Friends of NRA banquets, Smith & Wesson’s Defender sponsorship level helps improve the grassroots support The NRA Foundation is able to provide shooting sports programs across the country.

Friends of NRA raises money and fosters community involvement for shooting programs across the country. FAIRFAX, Va. –-(Ammoland.com)- The NRA Foundation is proud to announce its partnership with Hunter’s Specialties, who has agreed to become a sponsor of both the banquets and television show of the Friends of NRA program.

The television show, which airs Sundays at 10:30 PM EST on the Outdoor Channel, features former MLB player, and personality on the Outdoor Channel’s Buck Commander series, Matt Duff and professional shooter Jessie Abbate as they travel across the United States to explore the history and impact of the Friends of NRA grassroots fund-raising program.

Their journey encompasses the entire shooting world as Matt and Jessie track where donations from Friends of NRA banquets go and meet the people who truly consider themselves Friends of NRA.
