Altoona, Iowa --(TheOutdoorWire.com)- The good folks at Brownells have just announced some of the Seminars for the Gunsmith Career Fair April 17th and 18th, 2009. These events have been arranged to help gunsmiths grow their career or business.

Seminars already set include:
- Which Job Opportunity Is Right For You?
- Creating Additional Markets For Your Skills
- Marketing Your Business Through Local & Firearms Industry Media
- Generating Sales & Traffic With Reloading

According to Pete Brownell, company President, “While connecting employers with employees is still the main objective, I’m really pleased with the way the seminars are shaping up, we’re making great progress toward our goal of expanding the event into a true Career Fair that will serve the gunsmiths, and entire industry.”

Other seminars by the key industry organizations, and participating employers are in development. In addition, NRA and NSSF have signed on as sponsors of the April 17th breakfast (NRA) and lunch (NSSF).

Frank Brownell, CEO told us, “Naturally we’re encouraging companies that need great employees to come, but more than that, this is a wonderful opportunity for firearms related companies that may not need help right now, to meet the folks that will be the backbone of the industry – and their customers – in the years to come.”

Employer/Exhibitor space is still available, but limited. Interested companies are encouraged to sign up today at www.gunsmithcareerfair.com , email tocareerfair@brownells.com or call Jamie Reed, 641-623-8070.

AR-15 / M16 / AR-STYLE .308 RIFLE HANDGUARD REMOVAL TOOL

AR-15 / M16 / AR-STYLE .308 RIFLE HANDGUARD REMOVAL TOOL
Makes Taking The Handguard Off Fast, Easy & Painless

Brownells

Hand Guard Removal Tool - Is a handy tool that eliminates the need for a second pair of hands when removing AR-type handguards. Simply insert the hooked end of the tool into the AR15 or M16 mag well, position handles over delta ring, and push down to compress the delta ring spring. Made of strong  ¼” (6.4mm) steel rod, with synthetic rubber coating to protect gun from surface scratches.

We like this easy to use tool. With the handguard removal tool you just remove the magazine and place the tools “hook” in the magazine well, then push down on the handguard tool to compress the spring in your delta ring, at this point you just pull out on your 1/2 of a handguard and it will pull right out and then you do the same to the other half. To reinstall or change handguards just reverse the above procedure.

Check out the above video demonstration of the Brownells AR-15 / M16 Hanguard Removal Tool.
