GunZoo Version 3.0 Launches Today

GunZoo

GunZoo

JACKSONVILLE, FL --(Ammoland.com)- GunZoo is proud to announce their first release of 2012, which includes the launch of their Gun Shops & FFL search.

The features described below are in addition to GunZoo’s already robust set of features, which includes the ability to search and compare guns, read the latest industry news, and of course maintain and share a collection of firearms.

Gun Shops
Do you need to find a gun shop in your area to check out the latest equipment in person, or do you need an FFL to complete a transfer for a firearm you’ve purchased online?

It can be tough to track down information using Internet search engines. Results can be outdated or mixed in with irrelevant results. GunZoo’s first release of Gun Shops allows users to find gun shops in their area with a fast and focused search.

Results are displayed in a list and plotted on a map. Clicking on any shop will take the user to a details page where they’ll see the shop address, phone number and a detailed map showing the shop’s location. Enter your address and the tool will even generate driving directions.

I Own It
One of the easiest ways to add a gun to a GunZoo GunVault is to use the advanced gun search. From the gun details page, users may add it to their GunVault by clicking “I Own It”. From there the user can enter information about how they use the gun. This will help other users with similar interests find out what others are shooting. In this release, a “Save and Customize” button has been added to the usage window that will take the user directly to the latest addition to their GunVault. From there the user may upload their own picture, tag it with their modifications and write a detailed description of the gun. One in a user’s GunVault, other GunZoo users can “like” the gun, ask questions, or rain down compliments through comments.

Once created, a GunVault can be easily shared on any forum, over email or on Facebook.

Show All Likes on GunVault

GunZoo users are able to view thousands of personally owned and modified firearms loaded by their users in their GunVaults. Viewing users can offer the owner a virtual pat on the back for having a great looking gun by clicking “like” on that user’s profile. A tab has been added to the GunVault profile that will now show the number of likes a gun has, along with who likes it. This is a great way to find other users with similar interests.

Finding Gun Retailers & Guns Online

FindTheBest

FindTheBest

USA --(Ammoland.com)- Looking for a local gun dealer that holds a Federal Firearm License?

FindTheBest is here to help sort out the confusion surrounding the status of dealers with Federal Firearms Licenses from the ATF.

While the ATF releases this information for the public it is hard to sort through all the confusion with over 65,000 licensees. FindTheBest has organized the data into an easy to use format, where you can easily sort through the information to find what you are looking for. Additionally, you can filter the License Type so you can find the dealer that meets your needs.

Now that you have found the dealer, you can compare the different guns on FindTheBest as well. With a database of 626 guns, you can compare side-by-side guns that you are considering to see how they stack up. The variables you can compare across include Manufacturer, MSRP, Class, Action, Caliber, Capacity, Dimensions, and more. So whether you are in the market for Hunting, Sports, or Defense FindTheBest can help you sort through all the information and find the information on guns you need.

If you are in the market for guns, then you may want to consider a Gun Safe to store your guns and ammunition. Before you purchase a gun safe, you will want to make sure that the safe can accommodate the range of guns that you are planning to store.  Other factors to influence your decision may be the Fire Rating, Burglary Rating, or Lock Rating. If you are still unsure then FindTheBest compiles ratings for the safes based on relevant data provided by manufacturers.

Finally, you may also be interested in going out to a shooting range to test out any new guns. With over 300 indoor or outdoor shooting ranges listed, FindTheBest can help you find the one nearest to you.
